What I Liked

There is correct boundaries and spaces provided for the 3 colleges inside one compound.
Faculties are really helpful and approachable.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure and facilities of college is pretty less.
Not having a social life because of the course curriculum.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement opportunity provided by our college. Through intetnship we have done, we may get a chance to enter into the same firm after studies for job opportunity. My plan is work under a senior architect for some time and then get enough work experiance.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is a part of our course curriculum. Out of 10 semesters, sem8 is internship and it is mandatory to go and do the internship which wil decide our further semester entry. We can aplly to wherever and whichever places and company we want for our internship. It is mandatory to complete 180 days to get cousre completion certficate.

Our life at kmea college of architecture.

What I Liked

I really love the courtyard in the middle where this courtyard acts as spine of the whole college
The next thing I love about pure college is our faculty team ,as I’ve been repeatedly saying ,we have a well known and well talented faculty set .

Placement Experience:

The job opportunities after passing out from kmea college of architecture is huge . Since we are taught by a well know faculty set , we r having a huge options to pick from . Most of our seniors who passed out are working with huge architecture firms and some of them run very good architecture firms too.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes , we do have to do internship program for one whole semester, we get internship where we make individual portfolios with our previous semester works and other achievements. The offices calls us after reviewing our portfolio, this is how we get internship

It was NICEE

What I Liked

College is near ernakulam town thats a good thing tbh.
The atmosphere is really nice and we have all the freedom here

What I didn’t like

Faculty and teaching is getting worser each year
Campus is in top of a hill no students vehicle is allowed to top so we have to walk.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college I think and it used to be one of the best now it has fallen a bit. I want to go outside of India and want to do a job and settle outside most likely I want to go to Japan.

Internships Opportunities:

We have an internship on s8 of 6 months where we have to send our portfolios to the companies and wait to get selected and it is compulsory in our college and education. It is usually about designing and drawing.

Life at Kmea

What I Liked

College campus is beautiful and is located on top of a hill area which will give magnificent view of Ernakulam city from the top.
Faculties are extremely supportive and caring

What I didn’t like

Classroom are to be renovated. And college building should have a minimum standard of an architecture college
It is too hard to climb the hill to reach top of the college

Placement Experience:

No placement by college. Young architects are earning like 15000 to 60,000 rupees per month working in a firm. After the course completion one can start their own firm which will give them huge profits.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, i have done internship at Archimatrix at vytilla with absolutely minimum stipends. My friends went to Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Pondicherry for internship there they got stipend more than 5000
