My Father is contractor so it's obvious he wanted me to do civil as the faculty is good they strict but only for us because once you go for higher education like BE or ME you'll realise they did the best to uplift us , the difficulty level of engineering everyone knows but the teachers made it easy for us weekly test, increase child's inner confidence to stand out.

the course curriculum made it easier for students to learn and understand every subject, the faculty was good and highly educated and the teaching methods were excellent including labs, every semester was about 6 months long and exams were conducted every 6th month
