What I Liked

Infrastructure is quite good and greenaries are there all over campus
Quite good and qualified faculties and a well developed sports infrastructure

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is good but due to lack of staffs it is poorly maintained
Lack of staffs and guards causes security concerns

Placement Experience:

Since it is not btech degree so we don't get any placement offers from other companies but there is ample amount of job opportunities in government sector as well as in private sectors by working in hospitals and practicing medicine in self established clinics or working as a medical officer for the government

Remarks:

Since my dream was to become a doctor so I took admission in this college as it is a government medical College, to get admission into it u have to clear neet UG cutoff and then do the counselling and u will be alloted with this college , no group discussion, no interviews are taken for admission.

Jannayak karpoori thakur medical College.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is quite good .The faculties here are good and cooperative.
The ground here are quite big and facilities here are also good .

What I didn’t like

The location of the college is not so good .
It's connectivity with other cities is not so good .

Placement Experience:

As such there are no placement.Thete are internship programs for the MBBS students who has completed the graduation. The vacancies are there for the post of faculties in the teaching and clinical . Average intership stipend is 18000-20000

Remarks:

I got selected in this college through the competitive exam known as NEET UG which is held every year for the MBBS ,AYUSH and BDS courses . After it a merit list is prepared and accordingly the students choose the college . I choose this college because it was built recently,the infrastructure was good and new ,big campus and good facilities.It has a big hostle separately for boys and girls and the environment is very peaceful. The only bad thing about the college is ,it's location and it's connectivity with other cities,which is not so good .

Overall was happy to review my college

What I Liked

Hospital and it's environment is awesome 👍
Every staff and faculties are cooperative and supportive.

What I didn’t like

College is Away from states capital city Patna.😶
A little bit issue of local communication and community.

Placement Experience:

After the internship, you become a registered medical professional under the state medical register and become eligible for further pg and specialty courses. You can also apply for MEDICAL OFFICER or JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTOR in state govt medical colleges.

Remarks:

College cut-off was clear through the NEET UG exam, The college was a state government medical College with good accommodation facilities and environment. The college had fees which fit my financial accommodation.

About Bharat Ratna jannayak karpuri thakur medical College and hospital.

What I Liked

A very good infrastructure and healthy campus environment
Faculties are very supportive and caring with best teaching skills.

What I didn’t like

Location is very periphery from main city. You can't get out in night.
College and hospital are attached so not much of open area available. Itis just in 25 acre.

Placement Experience:

As our college provides MBBS courses so there is no such situation of college placement. After completion of MBBS one can apply for many jobs thereafter like Medical officer, JR, etc. average salary depends on the rank of the doctors.JR has 60,000? monthly, SRs have 90,000 monthly, and surgeons and practitioners are even higher than that. No batch has passed out yet as this college was first started in 2020 and the first batch will be passed out in 2026. After completion, we can either go for a PG or JR job or many other ways are also there.

Remarks:

A very good infrastructure and healthy campus environment. All teaching and study facilities are available. 24×7 water and electricity, free wifi, outdoor and indoor sports complex. Separate boys and girls hostel, gym, mess. Fully AC LTs and Library with all sufficient books and journals with e-library facility. Nursing hostels are also present. Labs are well equipped. But, it is periphery in location and away from tmain city of Bihar. Surrounding locality is mostly lower socioeconomic status. A night out is insecure. Patna's capital city is almost 300km away. Admission for the MBBS course is solely through NEET UG. It has a total of 100-seat intake.15% through all India quota and 85% through Bihar state quota. Cutoff for General- 15000 AIR and GEN EWS- 17000 AIR. State cutoff for GEN-200 state rank and GEN EWS-230 state rank. BCECE board conducts counselling for Bihar state quota seats and all-India seats through all-India counselling. Generally, 2-3 rounds of counselling occurs.
