UGC has specified certain eligibility criteria for pursuing Bachelor in Mass Media, which is as follows:
- Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any of the streams: Science, Arts or Commerce.
- Candidates must have attained a minimum of 17 years of age.
- Candidates willing to get admission to premier colleges must clear the standard and university-level entrance exams with a required grade or score.
- 5% relaxation in the aggregate score is given to candidates belonging to SC/ ST or physically disabled category.
