BVSc, or Bachelor of Veterinary Science, refers to a five and a half year undergraduate programme in veterinary science that provides students with the knowledge necessary for caring, treating, and breeding animals.

The curriculum of the course includes a thorough examination of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases. The five-year programme will include both academic coursework and practical exams. To get the B.V.Sc degree, candidates must also join a medical internship that lasts between six months and a year in the program's final year.
