Bihar Board Class 10 registration for the 2027 annual exam has been completed through schools. The 2027 exam dates are not out yet. Based on the last official schedule, the theory exams are likely to be held in February 2027.
Bihar School Examination Board conducts the Matric exam in two sittings on days when more than one paper is scheduled. The admit card, exam centre, subject code and sitting are printed together, so students should follow the details given on their own admit card.

Bihar Board 10th Registration 2027
Schools submit the registration and exam forms for their students. Students give their details and documents to the school, check the dummy registration card and ask for corrections within the given time.
The 2027 registration portal was open for regular and permitted students. The last extension shown on the official portal ended on October 6, 2026. A student whose form was submitted should now check that the name, parents' names, date of birth, photo, subjects and category are correct in the school record.

Bihar Board 10th Eligibility 2027
A student must be registered for the Secondary Annual Examination through a recognised school or under another category allowed by the board. The student must also meet the school's attendance and sent-up exam conditions.
The 2026 admit-card notice allowed the final admit card only for eligible students who had passed the sent-up or school test. The 2027 admit-card notice will confirm the rule for the current exam.
Things to RememberThe school handles the exam form, but the student should check every detail before the correction window closes. An error in the subject or personal details can also appear on the admit card.
Bihar Board 10th Sent-up Exam 2027
The sent-up exam is the school's qualifying test before the annual board exam. Regular and private students whose exam forms are submitted must take it and be declared sent-up by the school.
The 2026 admit-card notice did not allow a final admit card for a student who was absent, failed or was marked non-sent-up. The 2027 sent-up result will therefore decide whether an otherwise registered student can receive the final board admit card.
Schools send separate lists of sent-up, non-sent-up and absent students to the board. Students should ask their school for the date sheet and result because this test is conducted at the school level.

The board has not released a separate 2027 paper pattern. Recent annual papers use objective questions on an OMR sheet along with short and long written answers. Students answer only the number of questions stated in each section.

The Class 10 course covers the language subjects chosen by the student, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Social Science is divided into History, Political Science, Economics, Geography and Disaster Management in the recent annual papers.
The school textbook list and subject plan should be used for the final course. A model paper is useful for understanding the number and type of questions, but it does not replace the syllabus.

Bihar Board 10th Admit Card 2027
Students receive the final admit card from their school. The school downloads it, adds the principal's signature and school stamp, and gives it to the student. The 2026 admit cards were available to schools from January 6, so the 2027 cards are also expected before the January internal assessments.
The admit card shows the student's name, roll code, roll number, registration number, exam centre, subject codes, exam dates and sitting. Any mismatch should be reported to the school at once.
Bihar Board 10th Result 2027
The result date has not been announced. After the result is released, students can check it online with their roll code and roll number. The online result shows subject marks and the final result status.
The original marksheet is issued through the school. Students who do not pass in one or more subjects should wait for the board's scrutiny, special or compartment notice before applying.
Bihar Board 10th Compartment Exam 2027
The board opens the compartment form after the annual result. Students who fail in the allowed number of subjects can apply through their school and take only those papers.
