Based on a multidisciplinary approach, the master's program in Agricultural Sciences and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics addresses social, economic, and political contexts in addition to agricultural and ecological issues.
The basic and applied management of natural resources for agricultural research and development in tropical and subtropical regions is the main focus of the degree program. Students gain familiarity with a systematic perspective on resource management throughout the degree program, in addition to developing a comprehensive, multidisciplinary understanding of the structure, use, interaction, and management of natural resources.
Apart from engaging in talks and interactive seminars concerning contemporary resource management issues, students are provided with hands-on training in research technologies and methodology, along with real-world field experience in tropical and subtropical areas.
