As India is one of the fastest-growing FinTech markets globally, SVKM’s NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC) has announced the launch of its BBA FinTech. The program is set to commence in the academic year 2024-25. The application deadline for BBA FinTech is May 20, 2024. The Global FinTech market of India is backed by widespread digital adoption and government initiatives like India Stack and Jan Dhan Yojana. SVKM’s NMIMS ASMSOC has ranked 1st in the BBA Program by Education World India Higher Education Rankings 2023-24 and 2nd under the category of Best BBA Colleges Ranking 2023 by OPEN Magazine.

The program objectives are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that will include business administration principles and cutting-edge technologies in the financial domain. Students will gain expertise in areas such as Data Analytics, Blockchain, Payment Platforms, and Artificial Intelligence to prepare them to smoothly traverse the complexities of the financial sector. A multifaceted pedagogical approach will have students engage in classroom learning, coding and programming language sessions, and technical skill development in ASMSOC’s state-of-the-art Data Lab. Moreover, they will get exposure to the industry through guest speaker sessions, case study discussions, and research projects to enhance their practical understanding of FinTech.

The BBA FinTech program offers both a 3-year degree and a 4-year honors degree. This provides students with in-depth specialization and flexibility. An intake of only 60 students will ensure a personalized learning experience and individual attention to each student.

Admission Process:

  • Candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination, with Mathematics or Statistics as a mandatory subject, to be eligible for admission.
  • Applicants need to appear for the NMIMS-NPAT exam.
  • The final selection for admission to the BBA FinTech program is based on the merit position in the entrance exam.
