Goa University releases PhD admission results for multiple programs of the October 2024 Session. Selected students are required to submit the application form on or before December 09, 2024.

Enrollment of selected students will be facilitated by the Goa University Admission Section through the e-Samarth portal. The Last date for verification of Documents & payment of fees is Dec 04, 2024.

Goa University PhD Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the PhD program, candidates must meet the following criteria:-

  • A candidate with a Master's degree (1-year/2-semester or 2-year/4-semester) after a Bachelor's degree (4-year/8-semester or 3-year), with at least 55% marks in aggregate, is eligible to apply.
  • Candidates with a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's degree should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate to be eligible.
  • M.Phil. degree holders with at least 55% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks is available for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD/EWS and other categories of candidates as per the commission's decision.

Documents Required For PhD

The following documents must be enclosed with the application:-

  • Duly signed copy of the online Application form
  • Completed and signed 'Part B' of the Application Form
  • Relevant mark sheets and supporting documents
  • Certificate for NET/SET/M.Phil/GU-PET (as applicable)
  • Valid Caste Certificate (for reserved category candidates)
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer (if employed)
  • Provisional Eligibility Certificate (for students from outside Goa University)

Goa University declares PhD admission results for the Oct 2024 session. Selected candidates must apply by Dec 9, 2024, and complete document verification by Dec 4, 2024.
