Laxita Sandilea, who is a student of Parul University in the BBA department, has bagged international silver medals in the 1500-meter event at the prestigious Asian U20 Athletics Championship. The game is held in Dubai. Laxita Sandilea is a star in women’s athletics who represented India on the international level and brought honor to Parul University. Over the years, with constant training and preparation, Laxita has expressed her passion and commitment to athletics through such achievements.

In preparation for this 1,500 meter, Laxita has put in a significant amount of hard work and training in preparation for this 1,500 meter with the support of her coaches. As part of her track record, she made a groundbreaking victory at the U20 Asian Athletics Championship in Yecheon, World University Games in Chengdu, China, South Korea. Parul University has also been pivotal in supporting the young athlete, with funding for her championship. She got cash prizes of up to INR 1 Lakh rupees, and a monthly stipend of 12,000 rupees from the university that directly contributed to her nutrition and overall well-being.
