Parul University Vadodara hosted another edition of Gujarat’s Largest Technical Festival, Projections 2024. The festival is inspired by various elements from all over the world. Projections 2024 presents young tech enthusiasts with an innovative and advanced platform that allows them to demonstrate their creativity and innovative abilities in the field of all things technology. The technical festival witnessed the presence of participants from all over the country boasting an enthralling lineup of technical, non-technical, arcade, and adventure events. Around 12,000 participants from various Indian universities and more than 15 states of the country were present in the Projections 2024. The fest saw a gathering of around 50,000 attendees and spectators comprising visionaries and tech enthusiasts. The event at Parul University united brilliant minds, tech enthusiasts, and industry experts offering them a unique and enriching experience.

Projections 2024 provided a platform for innovative and technologically advanced projects drawing inspiration from the power of this vast universe. Appropriately themed as cosmos, the event was meant to transcend boundaries and inspire innovations by exploring the vast expanse of the universe. Intending to merge technology and the cosmos, the festival became a journey into the future demonstrating the unimaginable and limitless potential of innovation and experimentation. With a legacy of 19 years the fest, Gujarat’s Largest Technical Festival comprises of more than 50 technical and non-technical events, 20+ workshops and lectures from industry professionals, and worth 7 lakhs of money in prize. Robotics advancement, aeronautics, IoT, AR/VR, Blockchain, and coding were the major focus of the event among others. Dean of Student Welfare, Dhruvil Shah said, “For over the last 19 years, Projections has always brought something new to the table. This year’s Projections have also unfolded brilliantly. The theme ‘Cosmos’ was not merely a backdrop but a canvas upon which our students painted a masterpiece of innovation and collaboration. As the Dean of Student Welfare, it makes me glad when students show their capabilities in managing such events.”

Projection is a technical festival run by more than 500 students forming the core part of the team. The Organising Chairperson of Projections, Mr. Pujan Shah shared his thoughts and said “What always stands out the most in Projections is the seamless cooperation and teamwork that is exhibited by the organizing committee. The meticulous planning and execution by the students reflect not only their passion for such technical events but also their ability to collaborate effectively with each other. This event has not only showcased the talents within our student body but has also fostered a spirit of unity and shared purpose,”

Parul University President, Dr. Devanshu Patel also shared his thoughts about the fest and added, “I am immensely proud of the way our students have embraced challenges, embraced innovation, and created an event that will be remembered for its excellence. It has not only enriched the academic community but has also offered a platform for personal and professional growth.”

The success achieved by Projections 2024 serves as proof of increasing enthusiasm and dedication toward technology, space exploration, and innovation. Projections with its events such as Flying Buzz, Human Chess, Dr. Holmes 2.0, Code Crackerz, Mechamaze, Aqua Missile 2.0, Trade Tycoon, FIFA Horizon, and Frame Focus, among others, are dedicated to expanding the limits of technological advancement and innovation. The event offers students a chance to immerse themselves in the world of technology and get hands-on training and workshops from industry experts including Flutter Workshop by Pratik Butani, Flutter Lead and Senior Android Developer, and Bug Bounty Workshop by Aditya Shende, CHO, Co-founder of X-COODE.

Project 2024 offered an ideal combination of academic exposure and exciting events. The event came to an end with an unforgettable performance from the renowned musical duo Vishal and Shekhar. Known for their popular hits like Chammak Challo, Radha from Student of the Year, Dostana album, Jhoome Jo Pathan, and Zehnaseeb among others, these iconic music composers and vocalists graced the Projections 2024 stage and provided the fest with a well-deserved farewell. The live concert served as a perfect ending to an exciting tech fest with a presence of more than 12,000 students and individuals on both days of the event.

With a history of 19 years, Projections has left a lasting impact on technology and innovation. It also attracted participation and viewership from thousands of interested individuals from all over the country. More than 3,000 students from over states participated in the Projections 2024. Aayush Jha said, “Participating in Projections was a transformative experience that not only introduced me to cutting-edge projects and like-minded people but also made me feel like an integral part of a vibrant, innovative community. There is over 7 lakh of prize money and a tremendous opportunity to network as well as win the event. I look forward to carrying the inspiration gained from this experience into my future endeavors. "
