AP PGECET 2023 Counseling Schedule was released by Sri Venkateswara University Tirupati on the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The registration process for AP PGECET 2023 exam-qualified candidates started on 26 August 2023. Candidates can register their name for Web Counselling Registration till 31 August 2023. The counselling for AP PGECET qualified candidates is being conducted on the seat left vacant after the counselling of GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates.

The AP PGECET 2023 counselling fee for Unreserved category students is Rs. 1000 and for reserved category, it is Rs 500.

AP PGECET 2023 Counselling Process

The counselling procedure for AP PGECET holds significant importance for candidates who have cleared either GATE/GPAT or the AP PGECET itself. The process involves distinct counselling sessions organized for each category. The stepwise counselling process is given below:

  • Registration and Fee Payment Process for AP PGECET: Applicants are required to access their accounts using their hall ticket number and rank. Once they have successfully logged in, they need to make an online payment of INR 1000 (INR 600 for SC/ST candidates), which is non-refundable. It is crucial to securely retain the transaction ID for any future reference.
  • Candidate’s Reporting at Designated Centers: After the payment of fees, candidates are expected to proceed to the allocated document verification centers. It is essential for them to furnish their AP PGECET 2023 rank card to the authorities during this process.
  • Mandatory Document Verification: Candidates are required to complete the document verification process by uploading the following documents:
    • GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2023 Hall Ticket.
    • GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2023 Rank Card.
    • SSC, Intermediate, and Diploma/Degree Marks Sheets.
    • Study Certificate covering the educational journey from Class 10th to Graduation.
    • Integrated Community Certificate for BC/SC/ST candidates.
    • Proof of Residence (for a minimum of 10 years) in Andhra Pradesh, excluding periods of employment outside the state, ascertained by a certificate from either parent.
    • Residence certificate for the preceding 7 years prior to the qualifying exam (Graduation) for individuals with private study and no institutionalized education (can be presented through Aadhar card or Household card).
    • Transfer Certificate.
    • Income Certificate (if eligible for fee exemption) Household card (white) or Ration Card.
  • Choice Filling Procedure: Initiating the seat allotment process candidates to create a login ID and password. This can be achieved by supplying their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth. After successful login, an OTP will be dispatched to the mobile number registered, enabling candidates to indicate their favored colleges/institutes and courses. Candidates can opt for a comprehensive range of choices recommended as per their choice of securing admission.
  • Seat Allocation Process: At last the AP PGECET Seat Allotment procedure will be conducted. Allocation of seats to candidates will be determined by their merit, seat availability, and preferences submitted. Applicants are obliged to download the AP PGECET seat allotment letter. Additionally, they must fulfill the process of reporting to the designated colleges/institutes. Non-compliance with this reporting requirement will lead to the loss of the allotted seats.
