Magadh University offers research opportunities in different specializations such as humanities, social science, commerce, science, Law, education, etc. It encourages students for research activities and supports and facilitates them with the lab and research centers. MU provides scholarships to the top 10 research scholars based on the entrance exam results. The seat availability for Ph.D. students as per the latest norms is 4 for Assistant professors, 8 for Professors, and 6 for Associate professors. Meanwhile, during the admission the reservation policy is also applicable in the total number of seats, as per the rules and regulations of the state government.
