IPU CET Counselling 2026
GGSIPU conducts centralized IPU CET Counselling for the shortlisted candidates. Once the counselling registration is successful, candidates need to fill in the colleges that they would prefer during counselling.

Coming to the choice filling, candidates need to select the preferred college while filling out the IPU CET Counselling registration form. Candidates should select the colleges they wish to take admission in. However, in addition to their choices filled, the candidates will be allotted a college based on their ranks and scores secured.
IPU CET Seat Allotment
IPU CET Seat Allotment will be done based on rank, choices filled, and category. Once the seat allotment results are out candidates will get the seat allotment letter on their portal. There is no separate round conducted in the college for the seat allotment process.
- If the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotment, they will have to freeze their seats.
- Candidates need to pay INR 40,000 to book the seat. Once payment is successfully made, the seat will be reserved for the candidate.
- If candidates want to upgrade the seat allotted, they can continue with the IPU CET counselling process. However, after the second round of counselling, candidates will have no option left for seat withdrawal.
