- The thing i hate about my college was attendance it's very strict.
- The second thing i hate the most was my canteen's veg fried rice. Other than these things everything will be good
Remarks :
In my case I want to choose a college that should be decent in studies and sports and should be near to me so, I choose this college especially. In Thoothukudi it's one of the best colleges for studies. We need a cut-off above 175 out of 200 to get a counselling seat in this college. There will be no interviews and all.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason for choosing this course was I want to become a developer that's why I chose this course. In B.E / CSE all staff are ph.d holders except one or two. Their teaching is more than good for me as I'm the one who lies in mid neither a fast learner nor a slow learner. There will be periodical exams every month that mark will become our internal marks but still, the questions will be somewhat easy. Regarding the semester exams it's a tough one coz it's Anna University's question paper.
Internships Opportunities :
In my case, I don't take any internships. But for projects in the sixth semester, we do the mini projects and for the eighth semester, we do the main project. Both projects have a period of 1 semester. We need to attend reviews and finish our projects before the deadline.
Placement Experience :
For placements eligibility criteria are put down by companies themselves. Some of them need 70 % across the academics so need 75%, some need no history of arrears, some no standing arrears, and some more companies even accept 2 arrears. The highest package was 12 LPA. The average package should be 2.8 to 3.5 lpa. The recruiters are Zoho, mistral, Wipro, TCS, ascending some startups and so on. Above 70% of students will get placed in placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In that 65000 I'm a first graduate so that will reduce 25000 for me. Apart from that 3000 is for exam fees, 6000 for materials they provide, 3000 for internet, 30000 for tuition fees, remaining 2000 for student development fees, NSS & YRC fees 30, library fees 970, internet society fees 3000, computer charges 1000, special fees 795, sports affiliation fees 205. This fee structure will be the same for four years. 4600 is given as a scholarship for day scholars and hostellers 7400. The above fees and scholarships I mentioned are for the BC category. To get a seat in counselling you need a cut-off above 175.
Campus Life :
Sivanthi Arts Festival takes place on our founder's birthday on behalf of the Sivanthi arts and Science Club. Some engineering clubs like IQAC, SCAN, ISTE etc.., also there for weekly involvements like quizzes, programming contests, brain teasers, and connection games and the winners are noted and prize money will be given to the 1st prize of 500, 2nd prize is 300, 3rd prize 100. Regarding sports every day last hour is sports (P.E.) only and sports also happen in May. In the account of the library, every department has its department Library with thousands of books and a central library with e-library as well as has about 90 to 80k books there.
Hostel Facilities :
As I'm a day scholar I don't know much about hostel life. Hostel food taste and quality are good but need to be made better. Hostel fees are around 70 to 75k per year. The hostel was inside the college only so there would be no fear of security or late wakeups.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
