Admission had 1 pi that happened online, there was no GD. PI was mostly opinion-based and had mostly logical questions. I chose this college because it is on the 3rd number for PGDM- HRM course and has got the best faculty for PGDM- HRM. The placements as well as the alum base are very strong. The clubs and committees help in shaping the individual and give a lot of exposure. Apart from that the college is very fun with a lot of activities and celebrations for each festival. The canteens are clean and it's a good experience overall
The faculty is very good and pretty experienced, we have visiting faculties also from XLRI Jamshedpur who teach us very intricate subjects like ER and IR. The faculties are approachable. The classes even though are very long 1.5 hours which makes it a little boring. But some faculties teach so well that time passes by.
Various companies visit for summer internship programs. My summer internship was in a pharmaceutical company. With a stipend of 1.1 lakhs per month. It was a 2-month internship with the project based in the M&Q division of that company.
MDI brand itself is a big name and the campus offers 100% placements. The big 4s visit the campus like Delloite, EY, PWC etc. The average package is 26 lakhs and the highest is approx. 60 lakhs even though it varies from year to year depending on the current market situation. Number of recruiters are 100+. The profiles offered are from all domains, from sales and marketing to HR to finance. All companies visit MDI. My plans are also to take up a job only after my degree.

The social life of MDI is the best among all schools. All the festivals are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. Important match screenings are done. We have a lot of sports events like Tug of Wars, competitions between seniors and juniors, amongst sections, with alums. These competitions instil the sportsman spirit and also help make bonds. MDI never sleeps is very true when it comes to MDI.
The food quality is very average, even though the mess menu has a good variety on some days it feels very boring. The menu caters to both vegetarians and non vegetarians as well as Jains. The menu also has evening snacks. We have 3 girls' hostels and 4 boys' hostels for seniors as well as juniors. It is a residential program and the registration is done during the admission time only. It is easy only. All the documents required are pre-mentioned. The hostels have ACs in them and the rooms are also spacious. Though some hostels have common washrooms they remain clean.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
