- Getting in to BJ MEDICAL COLLEGE has been a dream and finally acheiving it has made my family really proud and this college has a very modern infrastructure with advancements in medical technology and patient comes from various states even from Jharkhand and Odisha. All the professors are very knowledgeable and campus is huge with all the sports ground and eating facilities.
Dislikes
- Well due to a very huge patient load it sometimes become overwhelming but other than that it the best college.
Remarks :
Admisison is purely based on your All India Rank in NEET UG exam. At my time the cut off was around 6000 rank. I heard about this college from my teachers from my tuition classes at Aakash and they guided me that this is the best college. The college is loacted in the most developed city of Gujarat and has the largest campus in whole of Asia therefore a huge patient exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've always wanted to become a doctor and all the professors teaching you in this college are MD (post graduates) so this is as best as it can get. The course is very practical and there are 2 internal exams 1 preliminary exam and the final university exam every year which is taken very seriously and contribute towards improving the student in every aspect.
Internships Opportunities :
We have to do internship in government hospital that is Civil Hospital Ahmedabad and it has a huge patient load and experience. Out hospital have the latest technology for diagnostic and therapeutic advancements with a modern infrastructure. All the resident doctors are very helpful throughout the internship posting
Placement Experience :
Actually after completing the MBBS the further studies are dependent on NEET PG exam. Plus if you have a benefit of preference if you have done your MBBS from BJ medical College and Civil Hospital Ahmedabad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have 25000 rs of fee per year for college and 1200 rs per year for hostel. Other than that the mess bill depends on how many times you have eaten approximately 60 rs per dish. Fee is the same for all category students. There are many scholarships that one can apply and being a student of BJ MEDICAL COLLEGE gives you an advantage for selection in scholarship programs. Few of them are FFE(Foundation For Excellence), NSF(North South Foundation), MYSY (government based scholarship for every student with family income less than 6lac per annum)etc.
Campus Life :
Well every year we have BJ BEATS which is a 4 day fest with concerts, games, performances etc. conducted during May We have a huge reading room plus a library with all the medical textbooks available. The lecture hall is also quite big with projectors and TV for extra display and everything comes with central air conditioning With BJ Beats there are also various sports tournament and completion. In the 1st year itself you can choose which club you want to join or form and we have a magazine BJ Sensoria that comes every year made with the Students and Professors demonstrating various events that happened in a year and talents of various students are also shared in the magazine.
Hostel Facilities :
We have a very good mess system where a masi comes to prepare food for 40 50 students and there are many of them which also you can changes based on your taste. Hostel fees are 1200 per year and mess bill comes based on how many times you have eaten in mess. Approximately 60 rs per dish. Hostel and mess everything is in the campus itself plus there is a canteen in the hostel building for snacks and drinks which is also quite good.

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

Placement Experience :
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.

All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.

Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
