Hindu college of pharmacy good and bad
Remarks :
It is a very renowned college in our city as it is one of the oldest college which offers pharmacy course. Admission is based on the 12th score and an online exam after which counselling is done for sorting out students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen this course mainly because my family has a professional medical background and i also wanted to persue the same. The faculty is highly qualified and the teaching methods of the teachers is also very good. Exams are held every 6 months and they are quite difficult.
Placement Experience :
Placements are just for the sake of name they are not available in the college itself. No companies ever come for giving placement opportunities in the college we the students have to go ourselves to the companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have to pay the fees evey 6 months for 4 year course. There is no university scolarship available but state wise scholarships are available. The total charges for completing the course is 3,20,000 .
Campus Life :
No fests are held only one sports meet is held among the hindu college. Books and journals are available in the library. Nothing as such social groups, clubs or student groups are present in our college the college officials doesn't allow the students for such things also they don't organize any function themselves
Hostel Facilities :
No hostel facility is provided by the college or even by the university un our city. There are only PGs available near the college for students that are from outside the city, also there is no transport facility available.

It was related to my interest in medicine formulation, their production and testing which made me chose this University. The professors are highly approachable and are well versed with their subjects. Use of new innovative teaching techniques are used. Strictly follows PCI guidelines, conducting 2 sessional exams followed by final semester exam.

You're eligible for job if you're in your final year and not have any backlog in any subjects of the previous semesters then you can participates in the placement drive cells happens every year , the highest package was about 4 lakh and the average package was 1 lakh 50 thousand and about 60-70 percent students were placed

Its career development department helps students to get good placements. Many known pharmaceutical firms come here. This shows that students who complete a B.Pharm. degree at this university can have great career opportunities.

You have to be in the last semester to receive placemnet offers. There is no explicit eligibility criteria for it though. Some of the recruiters here include Manipal, Appolo, Fortis, Medanta. The highest package that i heard was 8LPA and teh average is around 4-5LPA. About 50-60% stduents acceot the placements. I personally want to be a paramedic at a top notch facility.
