Honest review about Sri Shakthi institute of engineering and technology
Remarks :
Mostly the placements were very good in this college enough it is a normal autonomous college it is very better college compare to other very big colleges in out surroundings ,the teaching was also good but the faculty were mostly told subject for exam point of view not very practical way, because the students also not interest there is no passion in both faculty and in students so that only they teach like that .The criteria was 12th percentage if you get if very good marks in 12th means you get simply get college even some fees also waived off depend on your 12th marks percentage .I think atleast 75 to 85 marks cut-off for this college exactly i don't know because i am came on this basis .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually I took Electrical and electronics course for me it is one of the tough course in engineering that was the main point for choosing this course. Our faculty were most of them completed their "Doctorates" but the teaching was not good most of them focus on questions for exams they didn't tell subject ,because here mistake was not only faculty students also like that only they also get very marks in exams enough ,that way they think ,and these faculty also told the subjects for only exams. four moths once semester will conducted.
Internships Opportunities :
actually I am from electrical dept so that I go some motor and transformer, PCB manufactures companies for internships ,those are provided by our college only ,we and in the internships they will teach and explain about their companies and their work and component works like that they will teach and interested students will learn so much for this types internships programs .And also we do some projects in every semester and they are not very innovative or big projects so that I am not able to mention those projects
Placement Experience :
The placements in our college for better when compare other big colleges or universities, the eligibility was talent and hardwork. But luckily without talent also so many members were placed ,so no need to fear about placement ,the average package was 3 to 4 lpa and the highest was the 17 lpa , Some MNC companies also recruit ,the companies like ZOHO,Mr. COOPER,RENTLY ,XPERI,COMCASTlike these some many companies are were came .The placement percentage was nearly 85 to 90 percentage. After my degree i want to do job for some years and I am interest in business so i want to start any business,
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the normal fees structure for ours was 75k and also it will based reduced on 12th percentage ,for 95 percentage students the total tuition fees will be waived off for me also no fees for tuition. And also for management quota students have some changes in fees structure for them some what high fees compare to the general quota .we need to pay 15k in first year for lab uniform and books those are enough for 4 years .we need to pay 10k for admission & registration fees. And also scholarships will be provided for both financial and merit students
Campus Life :
In our college freshers day and also other fest we will conducted regularly every year .The campus was simple ,small and neat atmosphere, it is very pleasant environment with full greenery ,Once we came to library means OK enough books are available and journals also available and for those who are interested in government exams for them that exam books also available, and the classrooms are neat and big enough for 60 students .For sports it will give priority there are so many sports available in our college they give very good coaching for sports students according to their sports . There are music ,dance ,media clubs are available. yeah our college members will do websites for some events those are conducting in our college
Hostel Facilities :
I am staying in the college hostel ,the hostel infrastructure was simply very good the rooms were very big and four members for each room ,the bathing water in the hostel has a timings ,only morning up to 9 clock only the water will come ,and there are two types of rooms available one is attached bathroom and non attached bathroom hostels there and the fees structure for those two types of rooms were different ,When we come to mess it very worst taste, items were good but the taste was very bad.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
