A deep dive into my stupid but not so stupid college.
Likes
- Okay the infrastructure is actually really really good and they outperformed here. I love the library cause its ship themed and its called “SAIL” and my oh my i wish i can explain how amazing it looks. We have around 6-7 canteen places and each has like 8-9 restaurants. its nice to have lot of options and the seating is pretty good too.
Dislikes
- My faculties are the worst part of the college cause they treat you like trash and they never respect you like 90% of the faculties in my college are bad. I find only very few who respects you and teaches you the right things.
Remarks :
By the time i joined, Artificial intelligence was in so much demand that people paid advance to get the seat before you could even write the entrance exam. I looked at around a lot of colleges like SRM,VIT and they were all pre booked and it wasn’t fair. Luckily saveetha had seats for AI courses and i didn’t really hear much about the college but i still joined anyways since i was aiming to do AI course. But unfortunately its the worst college anyone could join cause i’ve gained more trauma than knowledge. My friends are the only good part of the college which is sad because i wanted to have a different experience.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I strongly believe Artificial Intelligence would be taking over our generation very soon and i wanna be able to take control of it. AI is one the coolest things happening right now and i think i can change things if i have more knowledge or be able to control it.
Internships Opportunities :
Unfortunately no i havent opted for any internships yet. But i have done my core project which is based on whey and creatine supplements. Its a pretty good one since people consume milk as a daily source they never know how much whey it contains. So my project detects how much whey can be found from a certain amount of milk, the type of milk and returns with an accuracy.
Placement Experience :
We do have placement and job opportunities. We get trained for it for 3 months and the interview happens. If you fail you can try again. The percentage is around 75% for getting placements. My plans after getting my degree is flying to abroad and do my masters in AI.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees i pay is 1,08,000 cause i scored more than 80% in my 12th grade board exam. Few of my friends pay 1,28,000 i think since they scored less than 80%. So the fees varies on the percentage you’ve scored in your 12th grade. For our semester exams we pay ?600 for each exam. And other fees like uniform and books (yeah we’re supposed to wear uniform its the worst part about the college.) For book fee we have to pay 1500 for each course and in total we have 33 courses to complete.
Campus Life :
Besides the faculties and the classes its pretty good actually. We have lot of educational symposiums conducted by the students itself inside our campus and we have culturals every year where sports dance and much more happens. Its one of the greatest things to experience about my college cause it happens big and its kinda cool. We have something called Star Summit where we present our core project to other institutions and people and they review our research papers. Most of them get selected for conferences in other cities as well if they find their paper fascinating. We have club activities after our college hours which is basically your other interests apart from academics like sports club dance club cooking club and more.
Hostel Facilities :
Im a day scholar. I think the best part about my college is i get to go home after 3pm lmao. I can’t imagine staying in this place away from my home. It probably would be my worst nightmare ever but my friends are the only reason college is bearable for me.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
