- Campus life- great Facilities are there like mostly all sports playground also there are 3 canteens in total in our campus Vending machines are installed for drinks and beverages and food packets.
- Infrastructure - a new 11 floor build has constructed of around 700 crores. BUS Facilities are there auditorium facility also there underground parking facilty(now 2000/- rs chargable)
Dislikes
- Faculty- Very rude, not friendly , very much strict on unnecessary things
- Attendance critera- the Attendance should not go below 85% at all in any subjects. Also as per this college you should come to college even if you have danguee,chicken guinea,corona,HIGH fever.
Remarks :
As far as btech is concerned in Nirma there is no any interviews or test for admission. If your all India rank or acpc rank is eligible for taking admision your admission is secured. Talking about good aspects: Discipline in college Students are coming from decent family Campus is good Facilities are provided like cricket Badminton table tennis football volleyball Things I don't like about my college Not good food of Pharma and k canteen Faculty are not at all friendly Below 85% attendance is not at all permissible Now 2 days back new rule came that students also have to pay 2000/- parking fees for car All HOD and director(RN Patel) will not understand the problem or seriousness of your issue. You are not getting attendance even if you are sick and have medical certificate. All the faculty are lazy and will not guide you in solving your doubts. Admision process By acpc By jee Cutoff for mech in 2022 was 20000 in round 3 acpc for jee I don't know exactly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose mechanical engineering because my father business is related to manufacturing unit. So I have to learn manufacturing process and different design and material science concepts like dynamic balancing,different types of steels,Iron carbide diagram and lathe and cnc machine etc. As far as teaching in nirma is concerned very few faculty are good In teaching(3-4 out of 25) while others do not have any knowledge and you can't even understand 1%. Faculty are no doubt qualify while 80% faculty are pursuing phd or have completed it from iits. But then also they are not good in teaching and they also lack the knowledge so ultimately even after attending all lectures you have to learn from youtube and internet at the end. The exams are always conducted as per given schedule and time.the schedule comes when the sem starts. The difficult level of exams is 70% paper is easy and you can score 70% while rest 30% is very much and paper checking is also tough.
Internships Opportunities :
No till now I have not opted But currently I am working on project given by BIS(bureau of Indian standard) regarding the material of transmission line. Also many companies gives project to pur college primarly like ISRO,BIS,HAL,BARC etc. The company provide internship opportunity after completion of 6 and 7 sem. The stipend you are getting is around 8k per month and upto 20k depending on the industry.
Placement Experience :
Placement in core branches like mechanical civil chemical and electrical the avg package is 7.5 lakhs per annum The Placement ratio is quite good of about 90%. For some company the eligibility criteria is min 7 cgpa. For computer science the avg package is high 10 lakhs and highest package was 50 lpa. Few company of mech branch is siemens Jyoti Bosch tata adani reliance skf bearings. Highest package 14 lpa Avg package mechanical 7 lpa Percentage Placement 90% I will not apply for placement I will then expand and run my ongoing father's business.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester fees is 98525/- this includes all tution fess,exam fees,lab fees,registration etc There is university scholarship for engineering students called nirma merit scholarship scheme in which for top 5 students Rs 1 lakh per annum,top 20 and top 25 students Rs 90k and 50k.Also if you are eligible for MYSY scholarship than you can get benefit of it the scholarship amount and all terms of MYSY are decided and changer only by Gujarat Board. Mostly all my colleagues belong to general category and their family income is higher than 7 lacs so they are not eligible for any scholarship and pay the fees same as I pay.
Campus Life :
The main fest of nirma are Vaudeville- ITNU fest mostly in Feb Praveg- Mech fest mostly in March Ashwamedha - Law event in April Kalp- Architecture event Nuzeal-Mangement Event Yes the books are easily available in library and stationary. Classroom of Nirma is equipped with projector and blackboard.Only few classes are ac classes(9-10) classes only while rest are non Ac. There is no extracurricular actives only in sem 2-3 motivation seminars do take place. Definitely we have good sports Facilities but since the college time is 9-6 so you will get exhausted and mostly only hostel people play sports at night. We have technical clubs like stallion,Arrow,Dyaus,Iste,Robocon,Ncc etc
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted but my best friend lives in nirma hostel. Hostel mess food is very bad in taste and quality both and also people get sick eating the hostel food. We have 4 hostels named H1 H2 H3 H4 Now in boys criteria those boys who are NRI and parents living outside India will get hostel as far as for engineering student. GIRLS Will get admision in hostel even if they are not NRI and Indian citizen So most boys live in pg or rent a flat nearby the college like nearby areas like chandkheda,sargasan,gota,goderej gardencity,Shantigram,Sgvp,Hiramani etc The rent of outside nirma for single sharing 1 room is approximately 2.70 lakhs per year.

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
