Likes
- I would go with library. I like reading and learning as it makes me more knowledgeable in things which I lack. It also gives me an idea and get to learn more words and meaning. I don't like to use my physical too much and so I prefer using my mentality more which I can get to use when I'm reading books.
- Secondly I would choose the campus as there is nothing better then being alone somewhere quiet and peaceful. I usually like to spend time alone sitting silently under a tree and enjoy the scenery and smile to myself. I like the naturally wind brewing and there are lots of trees which is really beautiful, especially the flowers beside the walk path.
Dislikes
- There is nothing negative for me to write so I will just leave it blank
Remarks :
There is so many colleges but I decided to choose Patkai Christian college as I feel like it might be a good experience for me. I don't have any problem regarding the affordability of the college nor do I have any bad aspects for me to note down. But as someone new to the college it was abit confusing to search for my classroom and it was hard to adjust and adapt to the environment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have decided to choose history as my major course since I have been interested in history long ago. And hopefully I learn how to write a book of my own after getting ideas from the history class I am currently taking. I don't have any negative things to say about the faculty nor the teaching style. They have their own teaching style but I would be honest that I can't catch up or understand their teaching style sometimes as it gets confusing for me which makes me lose my concentration. On top of that as an ADHD person it is really tough when I lose concentration ones, I won't be able to concentrate in the class the whole day so I usually skip the class and read my textbooks instead and watch youtube videos explanation as I can pause and rewind when I lose concentration.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship as of yet. But I would like to learn more about tech after my graduation and learn about programming and binary codes so that I can improve my field on computer and typing.
Placement Experience :
I would like to study further by getting admitted to a law University and I don't have any other plans if I don't get into one. I don't really know about the jobs but I'm confident enough to get employed as I'm a dedicated person ones I start doing something whether I like it or not.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did my admission along with the hostel admission which costed 27000 in totals and I have to pay my 2000 for my fees which increases depending on the month and on how soon we pay. As an art student I don't have to pay for my tuition fees unlike science students who takes tuition. I only have to pay for my college and hostel fees, along with books. I checked the amount of fees my batchmate paid and it was around 2300 rupees in total which he paid for this month, I'm not really sure other then that. Lastly, I haven't applied for my scholarship last year as I was studying in the NIOs schooling so I don't expect to get any money this year. And I'm currently waiting for my migration certificate to be issued in order to apply for the scholarship this year.
Campus Life :
I'm currently new to the college so I don't know much about the name of the festival and which month they will be conducting it. The library is very lively i can say that, the books which are needed for the courses are also available according to me. The copy of a book is less but I don't have any problem with that as everyone might also be looking for the same book as me and I can wait for them to return back the book. There are lots of sports activities here but I have had an injury ones as a kid which I had a broken bone in my leg and I haven't played sports since then so I don't really pay much attention to sports program. I also have an eye problem as I can't see anything without my glasses and It would be bad enough to play football or basketball ball with my glasses. I haven't joined any club yet but I'm currently thinking of joining a club which is known as 'Reading and writing club', I feel like I should just focus on gaining knowledge instead of injuring myself again.
Hostel Facilities :
I don't have any problem with the food quality. We recieve meat and egg every evening and we get potato fry in the morning along with pickle. The only problem is that we have to follow the given time and eat on time but I prefer eating late sometimes and most of the time I wake up after 8-9am which I miss my morning food and spend the whole day without eating anything. Well I can only blame myself for waking up late, though I prefer the private hostel where they reserve their food and they can eat food anytime in the 3-4 hour food timing they have given unlike ours where they have given only 1 hour.The hostel fee is affordable and the environment is good for now, hopefully I don't get into any trouble. But as a college student, we are all an adult here so when we have problems we solve it with conversation and nothing like getting into fights or argument. In a room there are 3 beds, I'm currently staying with 3 of my roommates which in total we have 4 people in one room.

The eligibility criteria for placement is being the gold medalist of your department. There have been very few recruiters over the past few years and less in the coming years. There are mo packages information so far as it is strictly confidential. Campus placements are not offered. Here in this College placements and job opportunities are very less than compared to other NIT colleges nowadays placements are very scarcity what are the placements offered by the company they are taking the placement so it is not sufficient to us and at coming to my time the placements are where hard to get a placement in an big company so I am trying hard forgetting and placement or in case I didn't get any placement I will write gate examination and I will go to my mtech for resides for IIT colleges.

No college does not provide any intenship but the placements are decent maximum 80 to 90% of students get placed with minimum lpa of 7.5 lakhs to max of 25 lakhs. L&t ,vedanata,tcs, genpact, alstrom, nse and bse are our top recruiters

in our college the placement percentage os 60-70% ,and the average package is 6 lakhs and highest is 16 lahks . and moreover in this institute we will get very less core jobs the max are IT domain jobs only.

The eligibility of the placement is that the minimum requirements is one should have a degree of any course The number of students getting placement cannot be said at the exact number since there are alot of jobs and placement of many sectors needless to say there are many who have landed a good opportunity My plans after getting degree is to work under a good organisation or a company.
