Remarks :
Stella Maris is a sister based college. They select purely based on merit and there is no such entrance exam that you need to write. You will be selected only off your 12th marks and in some streams you will have to attend an interview. I personally chose this college because it had good reviews about it being peaceful and it is a women’s college so I felt more secured. It had a good nirf ranking overall.
Course Curriculum Overview :
No textbooks will be provided. Only the notes you take from your class is used to study. The faculty of this college are all phd doctors in their course subject. The teaching methods are also really nice as sometimes they try to explain it to us through projects and components
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My college is an arts and science college with shift 1 being aided and shift 2 being self financed. If you want a lower fee structure, shift 1 pays lesser than shift 2 But they are selected based of marks. I am a student of shift 2 so the above is my fee structure for the year. But normally the fee is paid per semester and it differs for every course you take. I have taken bsc mathematics and my tuition fee every semester is 15,000 approx. Incase you do take the self financing shift, there are various scholarships available to you reduce the fee, with the eligibility being marks and a recommendation from any teacher.
Campus Life :
There is extra curricular activities conducted almost everyday. There are clubs for students to join. Intercollegiate invitations will keep coming. Cultural wise it is a really good college. There is a big library with alot of books ranging from post grad to Harry Potter. The whole of the college clubs are run by students with just one faculty incharge. Even college events are run through by the students union of the college. There is absolutely no ragging here.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
