- College Rules, Gender Inequality, Targeting in hostel, Hostel Rules.
Remarks :
I have chosen this college because it's comes under Anna University Constituent College and also for less tuition fee. For my cutoff of 121. I plan to go to government college or constituent college for my cutoff i got this college not any other specific reason.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum - The course curriculum i studied is Anna University regulation 2017. It's a good curriculum. Our batch is the final batch studying that curriculum. The new curriculum was Regulation 2021 which is much better than 2017. Academics - Ok. Basic Teaching. The faculty will come and do their work and go. Some will teach very good, some will teach normal. some will teach but we understand nothing. No exposure will be there because when i was studying the situation was very worst. No good relationship with seniors. In fact seniors not have that much knowledge 10 among 1 will be good and you want to find out and reach them. Too much of academic rules like a primary school. Faculties - Like every College different mindset of faculties are present different skillset of faculties present. permanent staff all are PHD finished faculties all will help if you approach them. for me a Mam called Dr.J.Banumathi gives me more freedom and help when i was studying.
Internships Opportunities :
No available internship. In fact if you get with you own skills they will not allow you to the company before last sem. They will told they will not give OD so we unable to go. I got 2 internship but unable to go there due to this. Only in 8th semester they allow and also you need to get the internship via college placement then only.
Placement Experience :
eligibility for placement based on recruiters Placement present for all department but salary is low like 1 LPA, 2LPA, 3LPA the highest LPA offered is 5LPA in 2024. No big companies visit the college. companies present at local near Nagercoil will come. Some MNC like TCS, Accenture, Admindroid will come. in 2024 totally 100 students placed among 360 students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you are First Graduate - Your semester fee will be 9000/- so 2 semester per year = 18000/- If you are Not a first graduate means Normal - Your semester fee will be 15000/- so 2 semester per year = 30000/- If your are comes under Government 7.5 reservation quota - You no need to pay any fee tuition fee(semester fee) if you join hostel also no need to pay any fee government will pay for you. Per year you will receive scholarship BC, MBC, DNC, - 8K, SC - Around 30k To 40k(vary)
Campus Life :
CONS: It's not a big campus one square building with two floors that solve, the entire campus is like that. I think this is an important part of college life lets list them all. Freshers party, college day, Arts day, Sports Day, Symposiums, and Festival Celebrations like Pongal, Onam, etc. Nothing will happen here. it's like a school even school do these. very worst management currently. So Don't think about it if you join. Library present but at class time you are not allowed to go there. you are not allowed to sit at any place. outside class even though there is no place to sit. No clubs. For sport 10 - 20% importance. No one will give you OD. PROS: if you want to go to college and sit in the class and want to return home for you its an advantage.
Hostel Facilities :
PROS: Food was very good really good this is the best think in the college. all the facilities are there like game amenities. TV present, Very good Water to drink. Wifi Present Hostel day function allowed because of our fund. CONS: Only 4 days outing when i was studying monday, thursday, saturday - 4 30 to 7 pm, sunday - 9am to 4 pm Lot of time we speak the needed think and if you speak little loud about the correct point they will target you afterwards. if you commit in any unwanted activities you will be need to bring parents. if you want to go to home you need to make a call to your parents for permission. PLEASE DON'T JOIN THIS COLLEGE OF YOU WANT TO BE A HOSTELLOR.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
