- what i really like about my college is that it is providing great facilities at a very affordable rates, we know very well how much private institutions looting students in the name of education but this college is providing really great facilities at a very reasonable fees even transportation buses service is free for all had it be another college this would have cost extra Rs.10,000 easily. the university provides access to its library and you can take any book for max 3 months for free, its library has hundreds of book for different fields. the campus also has beautiful green campus in which you can spend your free time. the campus has a temple in which you can worship everyday. the college canteen offers a variety of food like chinese, indian snacks, biryani, chole bhature e.t.c. the campus also has gymnasium, where you can focus on your fitness. the university campus also has dedicated grounds for individual sports like football, cricket, basketball, badminton, volleyball e.t.c
- university also promotes sports and conduct tons of sports events. the college is divided into departments like management where BBA and MBA students study, LAW where student doing LLB and LLM, pharmacy department e.t.c, each department has its own auditorium and the required labs. if any student has any kind of issue regarding anything they can write it on university website under grievance option available or can directly contact the administration cell. all sorts of ragging is highly punishable in this university.
Dislikes
- i really don't like the transportation facility of this college, it's very frustrating. even though college provides free bus service but because of that the buses remain so jam packed that it must be your lucky day if you get a seat to sit. actually they operate less no. of bus to save cost of petrol/diesel even though they have around 90 buses but only around 50 are operational. The bus departs from college at 5 p.m no matter how early your classes gets over because university closes at 5 p.m so the staff reaches bus by 5. My classes gets over by 3 so i have to wait 2 hours standing near bus, why near bus? because once they open the door, all the seats gets reserved in just a blink. students puts their bags on their to seats to reserve them and if you dare to move anyone's bag then you will have to pay your deeds. other thing is that here placement cell is not good. they don't provide enough placement and internships opportunities.
- the other thing which i hate is that many rustic students also studies here, so you will not get competitive peer group. i have scored 86% in my CBSE 12th class but when i was in school which is a great private school with great reputation i was sad because of my 12th score because my students had scored above 90% from my class, someone even got 98. so i was feeling average student at that time but when i came here and saw my peer group i felt like the topper of my class which maybe good for someone but in reality this is very bad thing because you are not going to learn things which you don't know as your peer group intellect is not at par with you.
Remarks :
I chose this college because of following reasons: 1.It is in my home city and i didn't wanted to go outside my city. 2.It is affordable which was my main concern due to financial issues 3.if not great but it has a good standard 4.it has a beautiful campus offering beautiful grounds, gardens, specific sports area, library & canteen which have variety of pocket friendly food 5.in my city and ncr regions there is only two big universities and this is one of them. some bad aspect of this college which i realized after getting experience: 1. No good transportation facility 2.placement and internships services are not upto the the mark 3. average peer group 4.few faculty specially males are very rude towards students The admission process is very easy and no entrance exam is required (exception- phd), the eligiblity of all the ug courses is 12th class. the admission fees is 5000 and is paid only once unlike some other college which charge it every year
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose this course because it has a bright scope and also i like it's curriculum. i am studying BBA(bachelors in business administration) and its 1st year curriculum has subjects: business accounting, business economics, b statistics, principles of management, business finance, human resource and vocational courses like ms office, tally e.t.c. i really like the subjects it offers to study but the flaw is that it gives majority of theoretical knowledge while course like BBA should incorporates you with practical skills need in the industry and also to advance in it. faculty of all the the departments is well qualified mostly they have cleared NET exam and are assistant professors while some of theh has also done their phd. the female faculty of management is really amazing and interacts with students with great passion and good energy. In every semester there are two CT(class tests) conducted and one main theoretical exam of 75 marks. 2 CT's are of 10 marks each and 5 marks attendance.
Internships Opportunities :
i didn't get any internship opportunity as of now in the college but i know that they do provide as such good opportunities to the majority of students and you have to find them yourself (some exceptions). if you very talented and good then definitely you will get some opportunities.
Placement Experience :
the placements and job opportunities here are not upto the marks, the average package you can get is of Rs.15,000 in hand salary and a maximum of Rs.40,000 in hand salary also getting placement is not guaranteed only few students from each class got it. some famous recruiters include mahindra, unacademy e.t.c. percentage of students getting places is very less you have to hustle outside college to find a good job. they do not provide significant amount of internship opportunities to consider ,but recently 15-20 agriculture studying students got the opportunity to go free and do research in germany for 3 months at some monthly stipend. the students of course which i am doing BBA do not get good placement opportunities so i will do MBA thereafter from other college (which i wanted to do anyway). In short you can not rely on their placement and internship opportunities, you have to try outside to find them.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the duration of my course is 3 years which is divided in 6 semesters. the total fees of each semester is Rs.22,500/- so the total fees of the course is Rs. 1,35,000 this includes Rs.10'000/- examination fees per annum. there is one time admission fees of Rs.5000 which is paid at the time of admission. the university also provides fee waiver based on two factors 1.Family income in income certificate 2.percentage in 12th for example: my family income written on income certificate was 1,79,000 per annum and i scored 86% in 12th so they gave me 40% waiver/discount. now important thing to note is that this waiver/discount is applied on the fees of second semester of every year so my discount is applied on 2nd,4th,6th semesters. i paid 22,500 in every year's first semester and 12,000 in others. the discount is applied on tution fees only which is Rs.40,000 and not on examination fees which is Rs.10,000 per annum. at the time of admission they will provide you a free bag and a free uniform.
Campus Life :
the campus life of this college is really good, it has a very big green campus which provides you facilities like library, temple, garden, playgrounds, basket ball court, cricket ground, football ground, badminton court, table tennis, canteen which offers variety of food at pocket friendly rate, meditation and yoga ground e.t.c. you can spends hours in college campus without even realizing how the time flew. as i already mentioned the campus is very big so many times when me and my friends got exhausted after taking lectures, we miss some of them to freely explore campus. it also has a big pound in which there are some fishes, me and friends usually spends our time at that place as it is very beautiful. it also has big farm field where you can do experiments if you are studying agriculture. the infrastructure of college is very good and every class is equiped with projector, smart board and cameras. every kind of labs like computer, chemistry, physics, biology e.t.c are available.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
