IFTM University Admission Dates 2026

IFTM University is conducting the final admission rounds for most undergraduate courses in the 2026-27 session. These rounds use CUET UG 2026, JEE Main 2026, the IFTM Admission Test or merit, depending on the course. Spot admission is available for seats that remain vacant. The admission cycle for the 2027-29 MBA batch begins after CAT 2026.

IFTM University Courses and Fees

More than 200 undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated and doctoral programmes are offered through eight broad academic schools. The university focuses mainly on professional and technical education in engineering and technology, pharmacy, management, sciences, agriculture, law, education and arts.

Seven branches are available under B.Tech, and CSE has the highest enrolment. The PCI-approved pharmacy school offers M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy. MBA students can choose from ten specialisations, giving the university a broad management course portfolio among private universities in Uttar Pradesh.

The total fee for the 3-year BA and B.Com courses falls between INR 42,500 and INR 80,000. Depending on the chosen specialisation, a 2-year M.Sc costs between INR 75,000 and INR 1,25,000.

IFTM University Admission Process

Admission combines entrance test scores with academic merit. Applicants may use accepted national or state examination scores. Those without such a score can qualify through the university's admission test or the direct merit route where available. The accepted examination and eligibility requirements vary by course.

B.Tech Admission

JEE Main is the main admission route for B.Tech, while CUET UG and the IFTM Admission Test are also accepted. The process follows these stages:

• Eligibility: Applicants need at least 45% in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry, Biotechnology or Computer Science must be the third subject. The requirement is 40% for SC and ST applicants.
• Entrance route: A valid JEE Main, CUET UG or IFTM Admission Test score can be used.
• Selection: The university prepares an entrance score-based merit list and publishes it on its official website. Selected applicants then complete document verification and confirm their seats.
• Lateral entry: Diploma holders can join the second year of B.Tech. The total lateral-entry fee is INR 3,11,000.

MBA Admission

National management entrance tests are used for MBA selection. Applicants who do not have a national test score may seek admission through their graduation merit.

• Eligibility: A bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 50% is required.
• Entrance route: The university accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA or the IFTM Admission Test.
• Selection: The entrance score and a personal interview held on campus are considered together.

B.Pharm Admission

For B.Pharm, applicants must have at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics in Class 12. CUET UG and GPAT scores are accepted, while students without these scores may use the direct merit route. M.Pharm admission requires a B.Pharm degree with 55% and either a valid GPAT score or the IFTM entrance test.

Law Programmes

Admission to the 5-year B.A.LL.B. and BBA LL.B. courses is available through CLAT, the IFTM Admission Test or merit. Applicants need 45% in Class 12. The 3-year LL.B. requires graduation with 45%, while LL.M. applicants must hold an LL.B. with 55%.

Other UG and PG Programmes

BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com and B.Sc applicants are selected through CUET UG or Class 12 merit, with 45% required. B.Ed admission needs a graduation score of 50% and accepts CUET PG or a state B.Ed entrance score. For M.Tech, students need a B.Tech degree with 55% plus GATE or the university entrance test. MCA applicants must have studied Mathematics during graduation.

Reservation rules issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh apply to every category. For most undergraduate courses, SC and ST applicants can qualify with 40% instead of 45%.

IFTM University Placements

Pharmacy, engineering and management account for the main placement activity at IFTM University. During the 2024 season, employers recruited 1,459 students from a graduating group of 2,155. Pharmacy produced the highest campus median package, supported by hiring demand from India's pharmaceutical sector.

B.Pharm recorded the leading median salary of INR 6.00 LPA. Across 4-year undergraduate courses, mainly B.Tech and related engineering programmes, 444 students were placed at a median of INR 3.80 LPA. The 2-year postgraduate group, including MBA and M.Tech, placed 598 students and reported a median package of INR 4.66 LPA.

Recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and UltraTech Cement. IT and software employers provide the largest portion of engineering opportunities. Pharmaceutical companies hire B.Pharm and M.Pharm students for formulation, quality control, regulatory affairs and medical representative positions. Banking, financial services and insurance firms recruit MBA students for sales, operations and credit work.

MBA students find opportunities mainly in marketing, finance and human resources with regional and national employers. The programme's ten specialisations allow students to pursue roles connected with their selected area.

IFTM University Rankings

Pharmacy is IFTM University's main published NIRF category. The institution rose by 8 places from its 2024 position to reach 93rd rank in NIRF 2025 Pharmacy, earning a score of 42.4.

IFTM University also submits information for the NIRF Overall, University and Management categories. It did not have a published position in the 2025 lists for those categories, placing it outside their published ranking bands. Its Pharmacy result remains its primary NIRF credential.

IFTM University Scholarships

Academic merit is rewarded through the university's fee-waiver scheme. Eligible students may also seek central government scholarships and assistance with education loan applications.

Students who meet the conditions for central government schemes can apply through the National Scholarship Portal. The university's administrative office helps students prepare documents for government scholarship and education loan applications. The 50% first-year tuition waiver is awarded during admission when a student has achieved at least 90% in the qualifying examination.

IFTM University Campus and Infrastructure

The university's 52-acre campus is located at Lodhipur Rajput on Delhi Road, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. It lies 5 kilometres from central Moradabad along the Delhi-Moradabad highway, NH-9, and is accessible to hostellers as well as day scholars.

Male and female students have separate hostels with a combined capacity exceeding 500 residents. Food and accommodation are included in the annual hostel charge of INR 45,000. Rooms provide Wi-Fi, cupboards, tables and bookshelves. Residents also receive weekly laundry service and round-the-clock electricity and water. IFTM University vs Teerthanker Mahaveer University vs GLA University

Students looking at private multidisciplinary universities in Uttar Pradesh may compare IFTM University with Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad and GLA University in Mathura. Each institution offers professional and technical degrees to students considering options beyond government universities.

Among these institutions, IFTM has the clearest NIRF result specifically for Pharmacy. GLA holds the highest NAAC grade at A++ and may suit engineering students who are willing to study in Mathura for access to a better-ranked institution. TMU offers medical and paramedical fields not available at IFTM, including MBBS and nursing alongside engineering and management. Within Moradabad, IFTM provides pharmacy, management and engineering courses at comparatively affordable fees.
