Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2025, conducted by AKTU, is held for admission to BTech, BDes, BPharmacy, Pharma D, MBA, MCA, and other UG/PG programs based on JEE Main, CUET UG, CUET PG, NATA, and 10+2 scores.

• B.Tech Round 1 choice filling and locking (JEE candidates): till July 28, 2025

• Round 1 seat allotment result (JEE): July 30, 2025

• Round 2, 4, and 5 seat allotments (JEE): August 5, 13, and 22, 2025

• Special Round 1 and 2 seat allotments (JEE, CUET UG, 10+2): August 27 and September 2, 2025

• B.Tech registration (CUET UG/Non-CUET UG): open till July 31, 2025

• MBA/MCA registration (CUET PG/Non-CUET PG): open till July 31, 2025

Note: Seat allotment up to Round 4 will be conducted only for JEE, CUET UG, and CUET PG candidates.

To register for the UPTAC counselling process, you must have a UP domicile certificate. A qualification from a UP institution is also mandatory. Apart from this, some important documents required are:

UPTAC 2025 Counselling Process

The counselling process involves several steps for candidates. A quick overview of the series of steps that candidates need to follow are given below:

• Registration: You must register for the counselling process on the official website. The registration fee is INR 1000.

• Document Verification: After registration, your documents will be verified by the Central Document Verification Team. You will receive a receipt through SMS/email.

• Choice Filling: UPTAC choice filling date can be accessed after successful registration. You can select your preferred college and program from the options available.

• Seat Allotment: The authorities will publish a sheet for the seat allotment of candidates. You will have to log in using your credentials to view the allotted seats.

• Seat Acceptance and Fee Payment: You can either freeze or float your allotted seat. To accept, you will have to pay a fee of INR 20,000 (General/OBC) and INR 12,000 (SC/ST).

• Online Willingness: In case you do not want to accept the allotted seats, you can choose to freeze, float or withdraw your participation from the counselling.

• Reporting to College: After all the formalities have been completed, you are required to report to the allotted college within the given time. You will require all the important documents for the admission process.
