- I like this College. Because there is very good facilities for studies. And there is very excellent faculties who were solving our doubts quickly.
- In our college faculties are helping to maintain the discipline to the students. They are not only teaching the subjects. They teaches the life , punctuality etc.
Dislikes
- In our college not many enjoyable programs occur.
- In our college they don't readily take us into tour. That is only once in our final year.
Remarks :
Our college is builded by British people. Our college is very best college. In Palayamkottai St. John's College is a famous college. According to the Admission process you need to apply through your 12 board exam cutoff. Merit Students are have majority in getting seats by cutoff. And there is a reservation for minority students in our college. I got good cutoff so I got a seat through merit cut-off.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am swetha . I am Studying in St. John's College. I am studying Bsc.Chemistry Course. Because I like chemistry subject. Chemistry subject is my favourite subject and also I got very good marks in my favourite chemistry subject. In our college there are excellent chemistry facilities. There are masters in chemistry. They solve all the doubts raised by us were solved by them at the spot very quickly. The lecturing of our chemistry faculties are very excellent. All the faculties are PhD completed Doctrine faculties. They are very great and very much excellent skills and talented in teaching Chemistry.
Internships Opportunities :
In our college there is a industrial visit. That faculties are take the students into the subjects related industries and plants. There is a good opportunity for internship in our college. That is very helpful for Students.
Placement Experience :
In our College there is a good placements . In our college there is a extra courses like type writting, Computer etc. The faculties in our college helps to find out the good job to the students. In our chemistry department, many people were join to the biggest chemical industries etc. they got a good salary after completing bsc. Chemistry in our college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In St.John's college regular students have to pay low fees than sf students. In the admission you need to pay 10,000 rupees. Each semester have exam fees around 1500 rupees. Then there is a management fees for each semester around 1500. This management fees includes the lab fees. And Library charge etc. In our college the scholarships are provided for Students. SC ST Merit etc scholarships are provided. It is very helpfull for poor students. In our college there is many scholarships are provided. And from government merit scholarship is provided. People who studies well and having good scores in their semester exam were got that scholarships. There is a maintanence fees around 1500 to full acedamic year for once. And there is service charge around 235 rupees.
Campus Life :
In our college there is a very excellent library. In our library there are many book related to all the subjects. Even there is a good books for the competitive examinations. Many students in our college are preparing for government examinations. And many students are preparing for the UPSC exam. For those students who were preparing for the government examinations are using this golden opportunity of Library for their studies. It is very helpful for us. Our college have very good campus. Our St. John's College have very great environment as natural environment. That is very amazing.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
