Short review of Maharaja Bir Bikram college
Likes
- The environment of the college is pollution free like noise pollution and air pollution.
- The college is situated in the city but is a bit distance from the main road so there is no disturbance of noise produced by vehicles but there is a transportation like Auto or Tuk tuk.
Dislikes
- The college is old so some of the infrastructure have cracks but the new buildings are constructed.
- Some of the tables or bench are broken and the distance between science department and the main building is a bit far like 800 metre.
Remarks :
The entrance exam is not compulsory for taking addmission in this college and the selected students in the merit list will be according to the mark they get in their 12 board exam. The addmission process is both online and offline.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The B.sc Zoology course is designed for the study of animals life history, evolution, classification, reproduction, characteristics and many more. There are 6 faculty in zoology department and the teaching method is simple to understand the concept. There is semester exam and the difficulty level is moderate and is according to the given syllabus.
Internships Opportunities :
I don't have completed my graduation so there is no internship for me but some passed out students says that the internship opportunities is limited and there is not much internship for the students as this is a General degree College.
Placement Experience :
The placements in this college is limited and the students who had completed the course will be get offered by some companies like Reliance, Jio and other companies. Some says the average package is Rs. 40000 per month and the highest was Rs. 1.2 lakh. The college is a general degree College so the placement is less in industrial area but there are several internship opportunities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The addmission fees is 1290 and there is no other specific fees like lab or any other. The fees for the semester may be around 3000 which is around 6000 per year and there is also a scholarship for reserved catagory.
Campus Life :
Firstly the Maharaja Bir Bikram College and the Maharaja Bir Bikram University is in same campus and the environment is pollution free. There are several fest conducted according to the date. There is a separate library building with lots of books and journals of each department. The inter College and inter departmental sports and activities is held in specific month. There is a student organized community.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.

Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.
