- Facilities and infrastructure is great. The labs are fully air conditioned and the desktop work well and are up-to-date with the softwares. The classroom have smart boards and projectors where the teachers focus on visual aspect of the course.
- The teachers are really helpful and kind. They are qualified and knowledgeable. They make sure that none of the students face any problems and the students go home without any doubts in mind.
- Every year, in February 3-4 days Utkarsh fest occurs where many cultural and technical events take place in which anyone can take part.
Dislikes
- No restriction for outsiders to enter the college. Anyone can enter the campus. The authorities does not check if the student studies in BBD.
- The lift to college malfunctions every now and then.
Remarks :
Overall, the college is good. The studies, the time table and classes, faculties is satisfying. Transportation is easy available and all areas around the city are accessible. However the main road national highway is dangerous if not paid attention carefully while crossing the road. For admissions, JEE and UPTU is preferred, students gets scholarship upto 100% according to the scores.

They encourage us to perform well and always give your best. Along with this, the course and the extra tips and tricks makes the students industry ready. They students learn how to tackle the competition and how to give their best and handle any situation because of our teachers. The semester exams are neither difficult nor easy. The college makes sure to balance both aspects of the course. The semester paper is of 60 marks in total out of which 18 is passing i.e. 30% is passing marks.
Internships Opportunities :
During placement seasons, companies like Telaverge Communications, Orahi etc come for internship opportunities with stipend of 20k- 22k followed by full time in their company at a later stage. The aptitude test, screening process, interviews happens to get the internship. Mostly the role offered is software developer.
Placement Experience :
Minimum 80% B.Tech students are successfully placed every year in various different organisation companies. Top Recruiting companies that come for placement are Accenture, Josh Technologies, Telaverge Communications, Reliance Industries with package of 7+ LPA. Top Roles offered in BTech are software developer, Quality Assurance, Operations Manager.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1,08,000 per year is paid. The admission fees is not included in this. The hostel fees for 3 seater is around 80k, for 2 seater around 90k along with 5k security fees. Govt. Scholarships are available every year for general ews, minorities, sc/st, obc.
Campus Life :
Various events occur throughout the year in college. The college has 2 cultural teams- Udaan(for dramatics) and Aaina(for other cultural events). Most of the competitions across the campus are organised by these teams. Every year, in February 3-4 days Utkarsh fest occurs where many cultural and technical events take place in which anyone can take part. In March, on founders day A star night happens where a famous celebrity enlightens the stage. Every year students are notified about the scholarship for general ews, minority, obc. The library contains books that are in good condition, the coursebooks are also up-to-date with the versions. There are many Instragram pages that keeps to notified with everything that is happening in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
The infrastructure is good. First year hostellers have a different hostel. Wifi is provided in hostels. The food available in the mess is also good. Variety of dishes are presented. The menu changes every month. While paying academic fees, the hostel can be opted. For rented rooms and PG, there are many options like Dayal Residency, Silver Line.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
