Likes
- The campus is quite big and it have atm, canteen in it. Also college fest and star night was organised by the college every year . So it was quite amazing.
- The faculty was good and helpful. They never pressurised us for anything.
Dislikes
- I disliked the thing that whenever students were not able to pay fees on time they started imposing fine on them . And for hostel students the fine for late fees was 200 ruppees per day . So this was something that made students very annoying.
- There were more rules and regulations on girls living in campus hostel than boys .
Remarks :
I cleared aktu extrance exam test that was named uptu that time but now it is merged with jee mains . Apart from that I didn't have to go through any test . The admission process was smooth and very cooperative.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science is always been an interesting course and due to its popularity I choose it. The curriculum was approved by aktu and the faculty was I can say okay okay but now extra ordinary. Some faculty were exceptional but some were not upto the mark.The exams were always on time and the difficulty was between medium and high . The faculty was qualified as they should be .
Internships Opportunities :
There were no internship opportunity available in my college. There were industrial training but student have to pay to get enrolled in them . It was more like doing a paid course then doing actual training.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement were their but in my batch many people couldn't manage to get placed because of recession and also many companies didn't come to our college. Luckily I got selected in one company. The average package was 3lpa and highest maybe 6-7lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees I paid per semester was approx 50-55 thousand it varies every year because in third year we were supposed to do a mandatory training that costed 5k more in fees . Also apart from this exam fees we have to pay approx 8 thousand .
Campus Life :
Social life at bbd is quite good. There are so many clubs technical as well as cultural in which we can take part and develop our personality . Most of the clubs are runned by students and there is a head faculty to which the students have to report . Every body is free to take part and there is no such limitations. For taking part in any club a student have to clear some friendly interview round that is taken by other lead of that club.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I did opt for hostel , but the hostel was not upto the mark. In security purpose the hostel was good but the food and wifi facilities were not good . There were times when people suffer food poisoning and problems with the food . The fees was also high compared to the facility they provide.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
My Experience at Galgotias University
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
