Likes
- The campus greenery and social activities and societies here in the campus are really exiciting and loving.
- The friendly nature of teachers and their helpful hand in every aspect of the student's problems.
Dislikes
- The placements opportunities can be a bit worrying for the students who are interested in the core branches other than cse and ece.
- There are no long breaks after the semester examinations and no summer winter vacations which badly affects the student's mind.
Remarks :
As far as the case with me is concerned , I have applied for the hsetes counselling which is held for haryana state engineering colleges and secured a computer science seat in btech course here in this college . I have also applied to the ymca , faridabad with this counselling only but did not make it to the final list of cse branch there due to less marks in my jee mains examination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course circulum simply includes 8 semester and 2 sessional examination held in each semester just like other colleges out there . The teachers here are well equipped with the knowledge that is useful for the students in any way possible. They help students in their prohect works also and give assistance to them for their future endevors .
Internships Opportunities :
I am in my 2nd year of undergraduate journey of doing btech from cse . Till now i have not any kind of internships . But my seniors done so far . According to them , the university does not help in any way to gain the internships opportunities and you have solely have to find them .
Placement Experience :
The placements here are averagely for the top 2 branches here namely cse and ece but there is also deficiency of companies visiting the campus due to the ongoing market conditions . But if u prepare well for them and you are in top 2 branches then you have high chances of getting placed in some companies that visited here on a regular basis like veersa technologies which is giving 8.5 lpa package to cse and ece students . The companies use the cgpa criteria for shortlisting the students .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As the tution fee is concerned , it is around something 55975 for the first year for btech and from 2nd year onwards it will be reduced by approximately 10000 . The hostel charges are around 32600 for single occupancy rooms and mess bill is around 2600 on a per month basis . Additionally , there are scholarships alloted to reserved category students who are deprived of basic facilities, which includes tution fee waiver completely.
Campus Life :
The campus here is full of adventures . You will get a shopping complex here for you daily needs and a dhaba for midnights cravings (saada adda ) . The campus also have different societies which are solely run by the students and headed by a departmental faculty . This includes dancing , acting and singing societies which have very profound alumini bond and they have also best of the best skills in their niche. They have performed outside the campus also and have secured very fruitful positions out there .
Hostel Facilities :
There are 4 boys hostels for boys and 3 girls hostels for girls . They are in average condition and well equipped with basic facilities like sanitization , mess food and other stuffs etc. There are also various hostel commitees which includes purchase and maintainence commitee , mess commitee and sports commitee etc. The mess committee is responsible for the food provided in the mess and these commitees are solely run by the students of the hostel. The mess bill is on per month basis and is around 2600 rupees only.

KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.

Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
