- Faculty - One of the most experienced faculty here at IERT, who are very friendly and supportive to each student.
- Library - A huge library with more than a thousand books, and research paper, that helps us alot for any kind of project or research work
Dislikes
- Infrastructure - An average infrastructure, that need a proper renovation.
- Campus Life - There is no social life here. For self development, the environment is not suitable for it.
Remarks :
I must say that IERT is one of the best institute for mechanical engineering. For taking admission here, I had to clear JEE Mains examination, then I took part in AKTU counselling process, and eventually I got admission here. There were no such criteria of GD or personal interview for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Ab average type of course curriculum is provided here. Taking about my course, at times practical hands-on experience is not provided to us rather than bookish knowledge. Most of the students prefer Quantum series books to score well in semester exams. Faculty is good, but not so great. They are helpful, and very friendly. Teaching methods needs a little improvement, else everything is fine. Taking about the term exams, they might get late sometimes, the result sometimes get late. The difficulty level is also average. Moreover, the reason behind it's delay is completely dependent on AKTU code of conduct.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I had opted for summer internship at Diesel Locomotive Shed, Alambagh, Lucknow. Here my role was Inspection Engineer Trainee. I had got the permit to visit various departments of the shed, and inspect the prescribed locomotives. Well, I used to enjoy the tasks there. In the end of my training, I prepared a project on "Scope of Preventive Measures and it's Implementation in Diesel Locomotives."
Placement Experience :
Placements are very nice. Many companies including Reliance, L&T, TCS, Johnson, Jindal Steels etc visit our campus for recruitment. And around 70% to 80% student get well placed. Till now, from September, around 6-7 companies have already approached the college for recruitments, and I guess till now more than 80 offers have been made by them. Last year the highest salary was around 8 LPA while average was around 4 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During 1st year, the fees will be 62865 INR, and eventually the remaining four years, the fee will be 58000. Each year, we've to pay a sum of 7865 INR to AKTU as examination fees. Most of the students get scholarship by filling the online form of UP Scholarship, the scholarship amount may vary between 55000 INR to 65000 INR
Campus Life :
No life at campus, literally no social life, no clubs except 1 or 2, infrastructure is again average. UDBHAV one of our cultural fest and TECHNOVATION one of our technical event that usually takes place in October and April respectively. Not all classrooms have smart board, we've a PPT hall, library, canteen etc, that are all average. One thing about IERT is, you have enough time for yourself, of you can utilise it. For someone who's preparing for any govt. exam after graduation, he/she have enough time for preparation.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I didn't opt for the hostel, as I personally didn't liked it at all. I've rented a single room in nearby locality - Chota Baghada, that cost be around 3000 INR per month, excluding food. There are many locality nearby where you can get affordable rooms and PG, like Salori, Katra, Colonelganj, Teliarganj etc.

our course is not for placement , you will get job in many library as per your degree , if you want grad a jobs you have complete PHD in library science . there is no campuss placement in this college for this course . most of student do mlis and UGN net after blis and some of them prepare for government like JNV and asst librarioan posts

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Galgotias University has a high placement rate with the current tenures placement reaching 5500+ job offers. The highest package was 60LPA and the average goes between 5LPA.
