No criteria for admission,if you can pay the fees, you can enter the college. There's still less people in masters courses but UG courses are literally fishmarkets.some courses have 400 students divided amongst 2 batches in 1 academic year. there is no such thing as group discussions at the start, nor even at any time during the whole course.
The govt colleges that i was getting were in south and even though they had monthly stipends,i made the mistake of joining this college, hoping that it'll all pan out for the better as im home but it has been the literal worst mistake of my adult life. people that teach us are either our seniors or faculties themselves dont want to be there.all they want from the M.sc students is that they should become able to take attendance of mbbs and bds batches by the end of 2nd year, they should submit whatever crap they came up with for their dissertation as they will quite literally accept literal garbage . As for the exams,None of them is bothered,200 students are made to sit in a room with a capacity of max capacity of 300
not allowed to do any external internships while being involved in their PG program because they believe they have enough exposure and things that student can learn within the university(they are wrong)
i havent seen anyone being placed from on campus placement, usually if you do ur UG,PG from this college and even phd, best on campus placement is that you get hired in the same department of ur phd with pay not even being 1 lakh per month after around 10 years of study ,leaving depts with depressed and sadistic faculties with zero hope or will of teaching. no recruiter or offers made to anyone i have known. zero plans for future,i'll have to do a garbage dissertation that won't get me any research experience, neither any high class education because they are passing everyone.
the tuition fee for first year is told to be 1 lakh and then they say we also give scholarships, which even though can even be upto 50% but the actual amount cannot cross 22 thousand and the rest is alumni fee, security fee etc
there are several fests in college and they are good,on diwali, holi and a synergy which happens around october . As for the books in library, there are enough if just want to pass, new books are very limited, often hoarded by people . amenities in classrooms are second to none,50% dont even have ACs,students dont have any designated classrooms and even if they are given a classroom of some other dept, they are asked to clear the room if a class will take place and if even there's AC in the classroom, students cant use it until unless theres a class going on.extracurricular activities are moderate but for PG students, multiple permissions ,via written applications required just to take part in 1 activity. no social groups, not many clubs.all the activities are basically handled by the student welfare association(their only role).
hostels are extremely overpriced, minimum of 1.5 lakhs per semester if you are ready to share ur room with 3 others and the prices reach upto 2.5-3 lakhs if you want to get a single room.mess is okay. people have started PGs right next to the university but the living conditions and food are far too worse.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
