Yes I cleared the Neet ug examination which is very much competitive. We need around 50% in 12th examination. The cutoffs are very high and keeps on increasing every year. We didn't have any interviews and all but the were counselling rounds and accordingly we were alloted colleges
The reason I chose this college Was because of it's strictness regarding studies. The faculty of first proffs were amazing The showed ppt and then explained the topics. We also have small group discussion which helped us understand the topic in a better way. For exams we had 2 internals 1 prelims and finally The university examination. Small tests were also conducted from time to time. Overall they were very strict about examinations.
No I haven't opted for any internship programs. We have 4 And a half yest of studies and then 1 year of internship during which we are paid a stipend around 13-18k depending on the hospital. But we don't have such internships in medical college
We as a medical college don't have a system. Of job placements we get jobs quiet easily after completing mbbs and many people go for post graduation and they are paid as well. As such we don't have any placement schemes
I have taken admission in management quota and my fees is 16 lakhs per year in which I pay 8 lakhs every 6 months and the other category is general quota in which the fees is around 9 lakhs and they have to pay 4.5L every 6 months. The other category of people is the freeship card category who are people from reservation sector i.e. sc/st who are studying free of cost. Government pays for them. For students with low income we have a scholarship called mysy which gives us 2L per year and a bond of 20L is to be signed. With this bond after the completion of our course we will have to serve a year in primary health care under Government. Girls get an extra scholarship of 4l under a scheme of Government. The university fees is around 9000. Hostel fees for boys non ac is 80k and same for girls but girls get an option for ac Hostel which is around 1.15L per year. Boys do not have access to the Ac Hostel.
The campus of psmc is huge. It is very large and everywhere there is greenery. Since it is a medical college so everyone is very busy and cannot spend much time outside. Most of them are studying so there is not much social life but there are no restrictions as such. Here we have a gym indoor badminton courts table tennis basket ball court volleyball court... we have an yearly fest called horizon which is conducted in variable month. Than we have a freshers week which is arranged for the new batch. Than we the medolimpics which is for sports. Books and journals are available in the library. The library itself is very large. The students are actively involved in various commitees.
Boys hostel is very old with common washrooms and sharing of 4 people. As for the timings there are no restrictions for boys. But for girls the end time is 12'o clock. Hostel life is nice but not hygienic. Mess food is very bad. It is 80k including hostel and mess. We can rent a room or a flat but it will be quiet expensive
The placements for M. Pharmacy is 90% lj ip is the best college in the Ahmedabad for pharmacy, commerce, class room etc the placements is too good in lok jagruti institute of pharmacy the placements for commerce is also good
They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course
Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.
Good placements after masters and bachelor’s the support is full from the institution and the companies come to collage and interview us and the placement are 90% and above with the good package expecting
All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.
Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.
I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
