- First of all the location of college is not good.
- The old infrastructure and curriculum of the department.
Remarks :
Good Aspects are:- * It ranks second government college under AKTU . * It is a old college and good placement records and alumni network. Bad Aspects:- * Its location . * Poor Infrastructure and Old curriculum is followed. Admission Process:- At my time I appeared in the UPTU exam and scored 356 marks out of 360. MY general rank was 3707 and OBC rank was 1050. Then I participated in UPTU counselling and got Electronics branch in 4th round of counselling. Now a days you have to appear in JEE main exam to take admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
-> I choose this course because I have a keen interest in Electronics and also it is a growing sector of economy. The faculty who taught me was well experienced but they used the traditional method or teaching without involving in much physical activities in lab. the exams was conducted semester-wise. In onw semester two times Class Test (of 15 marks) and one time exam(of 100 marks) at the end of semester . Practical exam are also conducted at the end of semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done two internships but college didn't helped me in getting any of these. 1).Web development intern at 'The Spark foundation':- I developed a front-end project basic banking system. 2). IOT intern at 'emertxe technology.'
Placement Experience :
Most of the companies that visit to the college are related to IT field and does not allow core branches such as (EE, ME,CE). But some companies such as Tata Consultancy Services allows all branches in their placement process. Only 30-35% of students got placed in 2024.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
- 20000 At the time of seat allocation (counselling) which is further adjusted in the first year fee. General fee structure:- * Institute fee ( Tuition fee)=40000 * Exam Fee =5550 * Hostel charges= 10000(whole 1 year) * User charges(includes development fee lab fee etc.)=12300 * Degree fee (for final year only)=500 For Fee Waiver students = All other fees except Tuition fee that is 27850 Scholarship:- * No scholarship for Fee Waiver(FW) seat student. * For non FW seats scholarship amount is 64400 for hostellers and 56600 for daily scholar.
Campus Life :
Fests organised:- Two fest are organised on alternate year. 1) Anubhuti (Cultural Fest). 2). Tvaran (Sports Fest). -> In library the collection of book is very old sometimes it lacks the basic books required for the curriculum. I didn't used library a lot. -> In my department only one class room is equipped with smart class facility such as projector screen and LED screen. -> The resources for sports are very less. There is a no separate ground for cricket and no indoor badminton court. The students visits other colleges for sports fest such as 'Spardha' in IIT BHU. and cultural fest 'Antaragni' in IIT Kanpur etc. -> There are many social groups of councils run by student body :- 1). Cultural Council. 2) Photography and Fine arts council. 3) Literary Council. 4). Institution of Engineers. 5) Q Frat. 6) Robotics and Hobby Club.
Hostel Facilities :
* I opted for the hostel and my hostel fees for the whole year was 10000. * The mess facility is not so good. They charge 139 rupees per day. We have to submit a amount of 20000 each semester to avail mess facilities which is adjusted according the number of diets consumed in a semester. The quality of food is not up to the mark. * I would prefer hostel in place of PG because its rent is less and affordable as compared to outside hostels and PG.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
