Likes
- you can pursue your btech degree at minimal fees than other colleges and infrastructure of classroom and library , labs are good. mess and canteen serves delicious food .
- transportation facility is very good and affordable hostels are good and clean management is very supportive and helpful to innovation.
Dislikes
- no industrial visits organized for our dept in past year and very few clubs. college follows strict routine and there is no football field
- college doesn't have swimming pool neither high speed internet access and lab systems are very slow and lagging , it needs to upgrade its labs with latest gears .
Remarks :
in this college admission are based on TNEA counselling which considers 12 th marks and a small interview is taken of students in which every student passes they also give priority to jee qualified students and cutoff in tnea is 140 /200 for cse branch and IT . so, no such hard to get admission here if you have decent grades in 12 also cutoff is lower for different category i did'nt prepared specially for this college , i prepared for boards and jee that landed me here , it is easy to get admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
course and curriculum are followed by its parent university, ANNA UNIVERSITY , the faculty in the college are avg and they all are mtech/phd holders and they teach well. teaching method is old school type very few seminars and innovative methods are followed EXAMS are easy if you predict the past trends of college papers it's easier side if you study a week ago and you may ace with good grade
Internships Opportunities :
internships are available from companies like suretrust, guvi ,and many others but mostly they are unpaid ..... paid internship is very rare in this college so students have to be more focused and self reliant
Placement Experience :
college provides decent placements. companies mostly startups visit the college and hire the talent from campus but mostly the company offers around 3lpa to 5 lpa that to after training of 3 months . so i would rate it 2/5 for placement the eligibility criteria is to get above 7 cgpa and around 50-80 companies visit and offers around 300-400 students are placed for 3lpa students mostly pursue higher education and sit for gate exams or prepare for psu else govt exams

The total fees for students may vary depending on the different types of scholarship they avail, as the college offers a variety of scholarships based on caste and academic performance in collaboration with the state government. however, approximate cost for completing a B.tech degree at this college is about 4to 5 lakhs >The combined fees of college for a year is about 90k to 130k depending upon scholarship availed >additional lab fees ,development fees ,maintenance fees for labs are charged annually ranging from 500 to 1000 INR EXAM fees INR 225/Subject for every semester During small events a minimal 100 - 300 INR will be charged for Management quota fees is about 1.3 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs depending upon marks in 12 th grade SC /ST Candidate gets many scholarship and fees is negligible for them (10 k to 20 k ) Various state govt scholarship are given to students like pmsss, sc/st scholarship , govt school girls empowerment scholarship and all
Campus Life :
social life is not that good students are mostly from nearby localities thus you would never get a peer pressure and college has few clubs that are also not active all day . but the infrastructure is good but chairs are not comfortable for long hours and class room are spacious and clean NAKSHATRA is the college fest conducted in January DGCT cultural fest in july /august and technofest in may by all the branches separately
Hostel Facilities :
hostel is available in triple sharing for 1 st and 2 nd year after it one can opt for dual sharing , there is no AC ROOMS available in college and for nearby students buses facility are there which costs 1700 / month for a student and hostel fees is taken on monthly basis 7 k per month the mess here is pure veg and provides traditional tamil foods with Chinese cuisine on special occasion and special meals are provided on Sundays and Thursday

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
