Likes
- The best thing I like from college is that they conduct examination correctly with no such delays from other average arts colleges even than Madras University announces. And marksheet are distributed after 2 months of announcement of results.
- The other one is the bus facilities which connects nearly all the possible areas in the surrounding and little far distances too which is like a boon for girl students whose parents fear of sending children through private transport
Dislikes
- The one thing I don't like in this college is the improper management of lab equipments in few department especially science branch but not all branches are worses except few branches like biotech and biochemistry.
- The other thing which is not good in the college is the college improper rules, their rules are not very sofisticated for students as you are not allowed to go out of college premises once you enter into the college except for emergencies
- The other thing I don't like is the faculties get tensed when you bring mobile to the class. You should ensure you don't bring mobile phones inside the college or you can bring your phones and keep in your bags
Remarks :
There were no such discussion or interview held in that college for admission, admission to each ug and pg course is based on merit basis,you can take admission by directly visiting to the college premises and submit your marksheet then get verified for admission, after reviewing your marksheet you can choose your desired stream of study.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is well designed by famous institution named ( university of Madras) since this college is an autonomous University is yet follows syllabus and curriculum of Madras University there fore no such difficulties has yet arrived in curriculum. Faculties are well experienced here almost 90% of the professors and lecturers are Phd holders. Their way of teaching is comparatively good from other average arts college professors. Examination in the college happens every semester frequently and there would be no such delays except in the case of emergencies or some un avoidable incidences. Every November and March the exams conducted.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for one internship provided from college and other from off campus. The one internship is yet to start form the college provided opportunity l. The key role and discipline in which I had opted for is ai in machine learning. Which they have promised to give knowledge form basics to advance.
Placement Experience :
To be eligible for placement you should have done a ug or pg in the final year of the core branch for job availability such branches are bcom,bsc cs,bsc ai, biotech,bca etc. Minimum 70% students get placed each year based on their skills and academic performa Average package received is 5LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College collects a sum of 50000 average for every students. However the detailed fee structure is as follows(Per Semester) Tuition fee:13500-16000rs academic fee:5000 No dues:1000 If using Bus:5000-10000 If hosteler:5000 rent + food charges The fee amount may vary from 50000rs to 100000 per year for each student depending on whether he is hosteler or day scholar.
Campus Life :
Every month minimum three to four fests are conducted from each department however there are nearly 8 departments in the institution. So there is no problem faced by students in having fests. There is a separate building dedicated for library alone in which that is divided into ground and first floor where the ground floor is for ug students and first floor for pg students. Every two months sports match are being conducted, sports is given an important priority, nearly all types of sports are available for both boys and girls. There are many social welfare groups such as NSS,NCC,RED CROSS,and many such groups and clubs for acknowledgement of students to do social welfare.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel rooms are separated for both boys and girls one is located near the admin block for boys and the other one is located near the library for girls. The food that is served in the hostel is fully pure veg and there is no non veg served for students. The quality of food served to students is average and could be rated(3-4) and the sharing of room is 3-4 people in a single room bed is provided.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
