I chose this college because of the great curriculum they are offering and it actually goes upto the mark. I really love the way they are teaching us , how everything is digitalised and great. As for the entrance procedure for this college, you first have to give a written aptitude and mathematics exam for Btech course , and for others , you'll get your respective subjects , and after you achieve a specefic qualifying score, you will be called for a personal interview which will have 2 sections a personal 1 on 1 interview to check your interest in this field and then a group discussion to check your participation in activities and knowledge. In these tasks. the interviewer will give you a certain score and based on that you'll get your acceptance and scholarship in this college.
The curriculum for BTech course here is the best which is the main selling point , here everything is digitalised and you'll get quizes , assignments and test scheduled for any specefic day on there web application which is really great and time saving. You get to learn coding right from the first week of your course starting and they follow industry standards also. Although i would like to highlight a fact specially for Btech students , that they will have to study some foundation program thing also in which you will be taught about Global and Indian culture and historic events. This course will only be for the first year and after that you'll only have your computer science subjects. So apart from this foundation program the rest of the curriculum and academics are great here. Also the faculties are really cooperative , they are ready to work for the entire day to teach , guide you and they keep letting you know about the upcoming competetion and hackathons to keep you up to date.
Yes i have been an intern at AIESEC in egypt as a volunteer. I have been a python developer at codsoft , GsSoC 2024 contributor , hactoberfest 2024 contributor and still counting. So all these internships have been really helpfull for my skill building and resume building.
As this college is new with the Btech course , there is no official placement data , but as for the internships and other opportunities , this college sure has a lot to offer , many students have cracked ICPC, GSOC and other hackathon and internship opportunities in their first year itself which is really great. Apart from it students are getting internships abroad also , like Dubai egypt , turkey, etc. So in terms of internship and placement , i am sure this college won't disappoint you.
The tution fee per semester is around 1,80,000 Rupees , which is literally a lot of money for middle class families, but it is what it is, apart from that per semester hostel + mess charges are 90k so total 4 year fee adds upto around 22lacs 80 thousand ruppees. However almost every student can get a scholarship based on there JEE main scores , any sports or any extra curricular activity achievement. The scholarship ranges from 5% to 100% , i myself got 30% scholarship which lumsum adds up the total fee of 4 years to be around 17lacs , which is really great for the things this college is offering us. Although the fee here is increasing by around 1lakh ruppees also which is kindof concerning, but i believe they won't do this for the upcoming years.
The campus life is awesome, although it is very small in terms of land (25 acres) but it is really great in terms of infrastructure and social life, you get to meet new personalities throughout the journey from around the globe, the students here are very diverse. As for the fests , there are two major fests currently , Damru the cultural fest which is going to be held this november, and Newtron the tech fest.
The hostel here are one of the best in terms of mess and infrastructure, they are fully equipped with proper features and facilities like 24x7 high speed wifi around the campus , there is no time boundation for students as the campus is 24x7 open. The mess food here is acceptabally great and you will get your hostel rooms alocated on the day you;ll reach the campus.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
