Likes
- The college campus is plenty big. Cricket ground is available. Volleyball basketball and badminton court is also available. A beautiful auditorium is there for any event or program in college. A tremendous big building of BAMS is there. Biometric attendance canteen etc are also available in the building.
- The faculty is very friendly and very helpful. All teachers are always there to help you in any way.
Dislikes
- The rules are very strict and 75% attendance is very compulsory otherwise you get to give you exam late.
- You cannot leave the college campus before classes are over with the permission of Principal.
Remarks :
Only one exam is needed for admission and that is NEET. One only needs to qualify NEET exam to get admission. You need minimum of 200+ marks out of 720 to get admission here. Other than that no exam or no interview is taken. To clear NEET exam I prepared at a coaching centre in Lucknow. The college was perfect as my requirements like fees location etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
BAMS is a continuous growing course. The government is also trying to boost this course. It is our culture as a course. The faculty at my college is experienced and helping in nature. They are always available to you. Exams happens twice a year as Internal Examination and then after 1.5 years you have to give University exam to get promoted. The level of internal exam is not tough. Pass or fail doesn't even matter. But the university exam is tough and is compulsory to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
Paid internship are very hard to get. You get stipend only when you take admission in PG course. You can work in hospital as part time job with salary of 10-15 thousand for 5-6 hours of job. There are several local hospitals in the town that offers got salary as part time jobs.
Placement Experience :
There is no limit of earning in this course. If you get a private job then you will earn 50000+ after completing the course. In private sector you get 40000+. You can also open your own hospital. You can start your job even after just 4 years in course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total Fees is 232100 per year. You can submit in two installments of 116050. Hostel fees is 6500 per month. All the tution fees , registration fees, admission fee, lab fees and other chargers are included in the fees. 50000 one time payment is caution money which is refundable. 14500 is also a one time payment at first year for all your books and other medical equipments provided to you. You can get minimum 50000 rupees from the state government scholarship. If not that then 30000 rupees from the central government scholarship.
Campus Life :
The campus life is perfect. There are several programs happening at a gap of few days or weeks. Yearly there is a sports week where sports like cricket volleyball basketball badminton etc are played with a lot of passion and fun. There are other medical courses in college so the matches are between two different courses that make it more interesting. Ayurveda Day Fest and Functions are celebrated once a year. There is a central library in the college where all the books related to BAMS is available with proper sitting arrangement. A digital Library is also available. Some students of the college host a program called Amritsamagam every year where thousands of students from different colleges gathers to get informed about development and opportunities in BAMS.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is way better than other college's hostels. The food is very good. You get breakfast lunch evening snacks and dinner. It all cost only 6500 rupees per month. The hostel and college is equipped by WiFi. Laundry services are available at hostel for no extra cost.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
