Here is my honest review about my college and I shared my all the experience.
Likes
- I like the most in this college is the clubs or councils which are made by our seniors and our professors. Sports council is the best as per my interest.
- The cultural fest known as "ANUBHUTI". I like it the most in the whole year. The happiness at that time of all the students is priceless.
Dislikes
- Faculty is worst of Mechanical Engineering department
- The area in which this college is situated. The area is very small and not for explore anything.
Remarks :
The major factor to choose this college, because of it's alumni network. The college established in 1976. The college placements are descent not above average. I didn't face any Group Discussions, Interviews for admission but I have to write the JEE(Joint Entrance Examination)only to take the admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So, I am persuing B.tech from KNIT SULTANPUR and my branch is Mechanical Engineering. Here, all branches are good but the Mechanical department is the worst because of their faculty. Faculty is not supportive, does not le you to do some extra curriculum activities to showcase your other abilities.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I'm not opted for any internship. Because there is no internship's given through college, we have to search it by own. You have to go everywhere to find interns because it is compulsory for all. The college is very bad at giving opportunities to students.
Placement Experience :
Majorly the placements in the non-core branches is high as compared to core branches. Non core branches placement percentage is around 40-50% in each branches, but in Core there is only 20-30% and the average salary is very low also. Simply there is very low placements in the past years.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The institute tuition fees is nearly 68k per year for all the branches(except I.T). Then, there is Mess fee which can be submitted as semester wise, and the fee is 20k per semester. There is also scholarship programme for those who's parent's income is under 2,50,000 per year as per the income certificate.
Campus Life :
Campus is likely small as compare to other universities. And the outer area is not developed and also facing problem in shopping anything from outside. There is market but situated at about 4-5km far from campus. Social life is good because of all the students are from hostels so they talks everyday with each other. Infrastructure is good.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have opted for a Hostel. And in hostels, the rooms are well to stay in but the major problems in mess. The mess food is not worthy to eat, it is very low quality and unhygienic food. I suggest to take outside P.G. to live.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
