- this college is only for students who are really into studying and graduating because a semester time length is 122 days, you will be preparing for CAT exams and end semester exams for almost 70 to 80 days, you wont get any time to go for extra curricular activites and sports.
- this college has the best infrastructure for sports. they evan have a huge indoor stadium where many competitions will be conducted. if you are coming in with a sports quota then this is the college for you.
- the food in the main mess is really good but it is only for the hostellers. if you are a day scholar then you can eat in the canteen which also has good food or you can bring your own lunch box and eat in the classroom itself
Dislikes
- this college is way to strict to have fun. we have to be well disciplined,have a formal attire, no sneakers or sports shoes, have a formal hair cut, and the main thing is we have to wear the ID card all the time.
- the faculty is not so good at teaching in english, they only teach in tamil. if you are coming from other states then you might have a problem understanding their english.
Remarks :
i got to know about this college in recommendation of a third person. there are other ways to join this college. management and counselling. for management you have to pay the donation which may vary from student to student based on there 12th percentage. for counselling, you have to write a exam called TNSET, and the cut off mark is 70%. i paid the donation ,so that i got the seat directly in management quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course (ECE) because other persons recommended that this course will be the future after CSE and they told me that CSE seats are full at the time of admission. so, at the last minute i changed the course from cse to ece. the qualification of the faculty is very good ,90% of the faculty were atleast B.Ed.and some even done Ph.D. but,the teaching method of majority of the faculty is not so good. Exams were timely conducted on the basis of anna university schedule. there will be 3 examination know as CAT in one semester. the avg. score of the 3 CAT exams will be given as internal marks for semester exam
Internships Opportunities :
i didnt do any internship because i choose higher studies.but, they make you do atleast 45 days internship in semester holidays for experience. if you dont get any internship outside, the college itself will arrange it for you in worst case scenario
Placement Experience :
the eligibility criteria for the placement is that you have to have atleast 7 CGPA (which the avg. of points given to at the end of the semesters).there are many companies who come for placements in our college(like accenture, TCS, wipro.etc). the highest package in our branch (ECE) is 10lpa and the avg. package is 5lpa, which may vary from company to company and student to student based on their CGPA and CTC score.my plan after completing the degree is to go abroad and pursue higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the year wise fees i paid for course is 1,55,000 which is seperated into 5 types tuition-105000, skill enhancement-15000, accreditation-5000, development charge-5000, anna university reg. fee-25000. apart for this i paid 100000 donation at the admission. for hostellers you have to pay 98000 at the start of the year, which includes all the required aminities(like luandry, mess,etc)
Campus Life :
there are no such thing as fest and celebrations. we didnt even have a freshers day. the only thing which is good in this college is sports. there are various grounds and court which are accessable for students and they conduct various sports event regularly.they even encourage student to play in various games. there are club activities , but not so active.
Hostel Facilities :
i have opted for hostel in the first year. the fee for hostel in campus in 98000 per year.the rooms are not so good there are no ac and in a single room they put 5 to 6 students together but the food was good among all the amenities, student are not allowed to go outside the campus, the only time you can go out is at sundays. the reg. process for the hostel will be done at the time of admission you have to pay the hostel fees with the course fees. i came out of the campus hostel after 1st year and joined a pg at a area called perungalathur which at the distance of 14 kms for the college

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
