- i like the infrastructure of my college and hostel too
- i like the sport facility here because all sports are played here
Dislikes
- Mess food is not good here and especially for the first year students.
- faculty here are highly qualified but they do not teach well.
Remarks :
Good aspect of this college is that its an NIT and the tag is enough for a good impression amoung people and society. also as its an institute of national importance and its a tier 1 college so it provide more ways for employement and sports carrier. Bad aspect for me is this college is in tripura and i am from up which makes the travelling hectic. for taking admission in this college first of all you must have to qualify jee mains exam and after that you have to apply for JOSAA and CSAB councelling,after that when this college is alloted to you then you have to come here for your physical registration and hostel allotment. for taking admission in college you must have minimum 70k to 80k general rank. I prepared for jee mains from a offline institute Physics wallah vidyapeeth.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opted for this course as a mechanical engineer has too many scopes for jobs and startups .also its placement percentage and placement average is 89% and 9LPA respectively. here in nit Agartala each of the faculty has done btech and phd in there respective course.the teaching method is average not so good bcoz they don't use modern techniques like smart boards.they use chalk and borad which makes the teaching boring also they have a Bengali accent in there English that's why its rather difficult to understand by students of other states.the term exams here are of two types one is mid term which occurs after 2 months from starting of semester and another is end term which is at end of each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
internships are offered in our college to the students who are in third year or at the end of second year,many companies offer internship programs like tata motors ,walmart ,qualcom etc.. i am currently in the first year so i dont know much about internship programs but internship is too good in nit agartala.
Placement Experience :
here in nit agartala placements are decent since it is one of renowed institutes of india, here top companies like google,amazon etc comes every year and recruit students in which highest package in 2023 was 52 laks which was given to around 4 students and highest package in my mechanical branch was 18.95 lakh which was offered by iocl psu and average package in mechanical branch is 8.5 lakh and median package is 7.62 lakh in which 83% students were placed. if campus placement is not offered then the respected students can apply off campus if he has skills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
there are two types of fee structure one for institute fee and another for hostel and mess fee. in institute fee structure, per semester, there is caution money(5000,refundable and one time),one time fees(1500),tuition(62500) and other fees(8925) and annual fees(1200),which totally gives 79125 per semester. in hostel and mess fees ,per semester there is caution money(5000,refundable,one time),one time fees(2000),hostel seat rent(4000),electricity and water charges(1600),other fees (600) and mess advance fee(18000),which totally adds to 31200 per semester.
Campus Life :
here a fest is done which is called as Aaveg .also there are other many small fest like dandiya night after diwali and many more. Here almost all the required books are available in the central library.here the library is too good containing 1000s of books which you can issue for a time period of 2 months.for your info.,nit agartala has the biggest sports complex in all the 31 nits and its fantabulous as it has seperate space for all major sports.also there are tournaments happening every time in whole year which makes the campus life more interesting.yes there are many clubs in nit like dcci (club for coding), and many more clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
here the hostel are too good the first year gets the rnt hostel which is newly built and that's why it has all the necessary features available for students.The mess here is ok not so good as sometimes they give half cooked roti and the quality is also not soo good as they don't care for the hygiene.the registration process of hostel is too hectic bcoz rnt comprises of 1500 first years and they do the registration on the five days and thats why it makes the line too long which takes much time.the rooms here are worth it according to there price as its well plastered and designed.they also provide one table and chair.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.
Placement Experience :
Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.
