Being Honest about BA in ECC

- Campus is so beautiful, aesthetic and vintage that I love it
- I loved studying literature and the professors of our department were so good
Dislikes
- The beauty of the college is not preserved the way it should be
- And the work on hygiene is literally zero, classes used to literally filled with dust
Remarks :
I liked about the college was the professors ,the staffs and the infrastructure. Professors are way more polite and take their job seriously, staffs wheather in the administrative office or in the parking area all were so cooperative. And the elegance that ECC holds is next to Allahabad University...one can check on the college website. Only thing I didn't liked was the hygiene, I literally had to clean my seat before using it. The campus was close to my home and is the autonomous branch of Allahabad University which is also called the Oxford of the East so the degree which students of ECC receive is of Allahabad University, which obviously increases one's score in interviews. Also it is said that the ECC is the best out of the branches of the Allahabad University. For BA they charge around rupees 7500 per which is okay when we look at the aspects like what they teach, the professors they have hired.. But I would say marking scheme is quite strict.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My aim is to become a civil servant like most of the students in Prayagraj have so BA was the most preferred course and English is my favourite subject. ECC is the only branch of AU where semester exams a taken..there are total two semesters and before semester exams students have too appear in tutorials test...scores of tutorials and semester exams are added together. Semester exams do minimize the study pressure. Further professors are well qualified and classes are all ventilated, have fans and projectors. Only the dust on the furniture often made us feel eww about the college.
Internships Opportunities :
No, job outcomes are least in BA , merely one can earn around 5000-6000 per month. I would suggest one to study further after BA and hold master's degree than it will be more fruitful. For me doing this course was only for my intrest in literature
Placement Experience :
Being Honest Bachelors in Arts don't provide any kind of internship and placement, so there is no campus placement in this field particularly. Although my friend in B.com had got his placement from the college in his last semester
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee was same for everyone, everyone had to pay around 7500 per year but the govt provided scholarship to the needy, though I was not eligible but my other friends do received the ammount around 8000 per year. Also ECC is a Christian minority college so seats too are reserved for the minors belonging to the Christian community which is a benefit for the students belonging to that particular category. Apart from fee which includes tution fee, management..etc.. no other amount was charged from the students.
Campus Life :
College was not too good at organizing at fests...even we had to organise our freshers and farewell by ourselves only. Although great personalities, educators do visited too the college to guide us. And the essay competitions, debates, posters making, etc were organised. The NCC department of ECC of both the wings i.e. Army and Navy too organised various events on NCC day, Indian Navy day, Indian Army day and on the Independence Day and Republic Day too. We had our library app from where we had all our recouds of books available in Library and the books we had issued. Although I never used the library of our college, but my friends were active in issuing books so they always issued the course related books from there. Also the novels and story books were there in the library and others liek encyclopaedia etc.. Sports event were the daily happening thing in college, tournaments and matches were normal wheather it was tennis, badminton, cricket, football, etc.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
