Remarks :
In counseling of aktu I got this college . we can take admission through JEE mains scorecard easily. Scholarship based admissions are also available for ST and SC category. The cutoff for CSE goes up to 250000 for general category. For ECE it goes up to 4 to 5 lacs and for other departments no cut off needed. To take admission here you need to register for AKTU counselling through JEE mains scorecard where you will fill the choices of this college courses then in the upcoming rounds you will be provided with the seats according to your rank. The faculty of our college is very supporting but the placement are below average as not much of companies visit here for the placement drive. Laboratories of the college are also not well equipped as the systems are of lower configuration and old versions. The cardomic schedule is having more than 15 classes for week which is hectic for students. But the semester exams are not that difficult you can pass the exams even after studying for 2 days.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I am from computer science and engineering department we have a really hectic academic curriculum where we have to take more than 15 classes per week. We have to submit one or two assignment almost per week. There are two sessional exams per semester and also one make up sessional for those who were not able to give any sessional exam. The semester exams are conducted generally in January and June. The odd semester exam is theoretical and the even semester exam is multiple choice question type examination. The faculties are well qualified but the teaching method of our faculty does not match the industry level also there are not well equipped labs in our college.
Internships Opportunities :
I have been selected for an internship at multigrad company which is run by one of our alumni. Also I am enrolled in the virtual lab internship from IIT Kanpur. The V lab internship is provided by our college itself. It is stipend based internship. Many companies will offer you for unpaid internships as well.
Placement Experience :
The placements in our university are below average as not much of companies visit here for the on campus placements. But many of our seniors and alumini have been place on the basis of own skills. The highest package from our department is 22 lakhs per annum which is an off campus placement in Samsung. The average package offered is 324 lacs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
85,500 is course fee and 18,250 in hostel for semester thereafter 8,250 in each semester. The university registration fee is 1100 for general and OBC and 550 for SC and ST category. In 85,5000 of course fee the library fee, course tuition fee, maintenance fee ,sports fee and extra charges are included here. If you have domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh then you can apply for UP Government scholarship. Where you will get more than 50% of your course fee return in scholarship. The hostel fee of first semester is 18250 where 10000 is the security money which will be returned when you leave the hostel after completion of your course. You have to pay the mess fee alongside which is around 2500 to 3000 per month. There is no merit cum scholarship for students.
Campus Life :
The campus life of Bundelkhand University is not like IITs NITs or such deemed universities at all. There are only two or three fast held in the whole year the one is BLF (Bundelkhand literature festival) in March and National Science festival conducted in the month of February. Thereafter the different departments like Law, Pharmacy, Forensic Sciences, Physiotherapy, Engineering celebrate their respective weeks and days. NCC day is also celebrated. There are some clubs made in the universities like Prayas club the Hunarbaaz club and the department clubs are also configured like The Coders Hub in CSE and others.
Hostel Facilities :
The buildings of hostels are good enough but the facilities are not that satisfying. There is not a proper facility of Wi-Fi on each floor, there is problem of water coolers, hygiene in hostels are moderate. The mess of hostel is not good it is not much hygienic also they do not have a good taste in their food.

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
