Remarks :
The only factor I choose this college was my parents, they found this college to be a big name and for them they found pride in making me study here, but the college doesn’t seem that great fulfilling the hype that was given. The admission was a strict process, when I came to enquire about the college and the admissions they said I won’t be able to get into the college because of my cut off and marks, they had asked for a cut off of minimum 110 since I dint have that they kept me on hold but then when we were willing to pay money they accepted me. There is no such entrance exam or anything. If we don’t have the marks to get in through merit we have to check if we get the management seat, if we do then we just have to pay money and get us enrolled. The college doesn’t conduct any interviews or anything it’s just a word with the dean where he’ll ask why we have chosen this college. That’s it. The good aspects are the college only has a good name in and around the city.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I dint opt for the course but the college only decided to give me this course, they checked my grades since my cut off was less and not up to the standards i was only allowed to choose this course or the production sandwich course which is a 5year course but I choose this which is a regular 4year course. Even though I was paying the management money I was only allowed to select this course. The faculty are all old and the way of them teaching is also old, it’s just based on notes and slides which they create and pile it on us for us to understand. The faculty have experience have been in this teaching field ever since but their way of teaching is average not that great, it still sticks to old methods of class room teaching even though we have labs the class room teaching is just boring. The exams we have ca 1 and ca 2 which are internal exams, which occur once in 2 months and we have assignment tutorials which happen before ca and we have final semester exam every 6 months.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I got enrolled I payed donations which was asked by the college for Rs10,00,000 for my course to take me in. Apart from that we have to pay a yearly fee of rupees 1,90,000 for each year, this 1,90,000 is for people who came in through management and this covers all the college expenses we mostly not have to pay for anything else apart from this except for industrial visits which the college takes us during the course which will charge accordingly to the place we travel to, come up to ?50-?7,000. Other than management seats my friends pay an amount of 18,000 a yearly fee as he came as a merit student and it depends on what merit the student has got into the college, few others have got into another category where he pays Rs90,000. We do have scholarship and financial aid available like lone. We have to apply for it by giving the certificates, and the documents. Please note, Only the merit student can apply for this, not any management students.
Campus Life :
The social life is good there are good people to hang out with, sweet people friendly and nice. There are various clubs available in the college like science club poetry club radio hub club because our college has our own radio. Many other clubs for every department of interest. We have a feat called interams which happen around October every year, the fest isn’t that big not a intercollege fest but just a small fest within the college. We have the biggest library called GRD MEMORIAL LIBRARY which is one of the biggest library in the city and in colleges having about 2.60 lakhs books, 13005 CDs/DVDs and over 217 printed journals. The amenities in class room include of a projector white screen a black board fan lights tables and chairs. The college does encourage us much for sports and extracurricular activities, we do have a basketball court and a team a football team, a cricket team and a place to practice a gym handball team, hockey, koko team, lots of sports in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is pretty decent, the hostel room are decent and fine the mess food is not that good but manageable. We have a change in food every day and different menu every day for all the 3meals. The food is good and neat, the quality of food and the way they prepare is good and neat. The mess charges for the year is 66,000 and we get chicken every once Tuesdays Thursdays and Sundays. Where we need to appily through this online portal. We have different blocks in hostel to stay, and the infrastructure differs with all. We have a double sharing room with attached toilet in a block which is only offered for 1st years, then we have another block where we have 4 sharing rooms with attached toilet and another 4 sharing block with common toilet.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
