- The faculties in the college are very good and supportive .
- The campus life is amazing , there are a lot of clubs , the seniors are also supportive , they tell us about their experience and help us in every possible way .
Dislikes
- There are many stray cows in the college campus .
- the college ground feels a little small , and also it is always occupied by students .
- There are not many places or sites to visit in the city .
Remarks :
Admission is done by the UPTU councelling , on the basis of JEE mains rank . I was also getting CSE in Jhansi , but i preferred to take IT here in KNIT because it is much better than it . It is ranked 7 in whole UP and 2nd in AKTU .
Course Curriculum Overview :
As the college is affiliated to AKTU the curriculum is same as that of AKTU , but it is an autonomous institute so exams are conducted here in the college . If i talk about about the difficulty level it is moderate to hard depending on the subject . All the faculties are very well qualified and experienced , they teach very well , and also help the students preparing for GATE exam, higher studies or any other government exam .
Internships Opportunities :
yes , there are internship opportunities available in the college . there is a special training and placement cell which prepares the students . some of the students get offers as direct interns and some get to work under professors or anywhere in a professional environment .
Placement Experience :
The placements in my college are ok ok , I mean placements in CSE , IT and Electronics branch are good , almost 80% students get placed with an average package of 10 Lpa . but the placements in core branches - mechanical , civil , electrical are a little depressing . There is also a " Training and Placement cell " in the college which helps the students in securing good packages and reputed companies . The highest on campus placement from our college is 51 LPA . overall 70-80% students get placed every year and the top recruiting companies are Adobe , Ansal , api , BHEL , Infosys, TCS etc .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee you have to pay in your first year is 88850 , it includes 5000 caution money , 5000 examination money , and 10000 hostel money . If you belong to SC , ST you will get fee reimbursement and have to pay around Rs. 5000 after the seat acceptance fee , which is also low (12000). students here can avail for UP scholarship , for gen/OBC students the scholarship money is around 50 thousand .
Campus Life :
The social life is amazing in KNIT , there are many clubs here like photography and fine arts club , cultural club , sports club , hobby club and many more . These clubs keep organizing fest on time to time . Recently the PFAC conducted a face painting event , which was a fun to join . The best of all is our annual fest "ANUBHUTI" which is conducted in march . There is a library where all the books are available , and there are 5 canteens in the whole college .
Hostel Facilities :
There are 10 hostels in KNIT of which 8 are for boys and 2 for girls . In the first year it is mandatory for everyone to take hostel . the hostel fee is not that much , it is 10000/year . hostel provides 24 hour electricity , water , and wifi facility . The mess food is amazing in the first year , i would say that it is even better than home . The mess fees is 25000/semester , which includes 5000 caution money .

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
