My experiences about my college
Likes
- I like the campus because it has lot of trees and a good canteen. Its affordable price
- I like infrastructure and the faculty members. They're friendly and well educated
Dislikes
- I don't like the way we celebrate festivals only. I will like if we celebrate all other days like world peace day, world child protection day etc
- I don't like the auditorium. I expected it to be big but it is not. The college is biggest
Remarks :
Well i applied in online and they called me to attend counseling in the college campus. I attended the college counseling. I got the course i wanted. The counselling happens in a way depends on your 12 th grade marks . Or called hsc marks. There is no entrance exam for any courses here . The cut-off list is released after the counselling. If you have more than 50 or 60 % in HSC you might get a chance to study here .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Well i wanted to study about plants so i hage decided to take plant biotechnology which is also good. The campus is good . It has beautiful green trees and plants. The faculties are good. They treat everyone good . They clarify the doubt and are friendly.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted in any internship until now. But i am looking forward to do one or so. There are companies in Chennai which are willing to give internship opportunity for our college students and its easy to gain knowledge related to what you study
Placement Experience :
Students are encouraged to involve in internships . The placement gives opportunity for students to perform well and get their dream jobs . The percentage of students getting placement is also bit high
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee per year for the bsc biotechnology is around 3k . Its pretty affordable. It comes under autonomous college so you the fees is around 3k for every courses per year. They have scholarship for Sc St students
Campus Life :
We don't celebrate much. But we do celebrate most important festivals like diwali, pongal, christmas. Also we have department functions where students from every department participate in speech , games etc. the Library is pretty big and each and every department has its own library. Its a calm place to gain knowledge. They give coaching for entrance exams like UPSC TNPSC and Railway exams. The sports including volleyball, cricket, badminton, chess are famous here. Students are encouraged to involve in sports activities. Sports quota is available too. There is also NCC NSS SCOUTS etc
Hostel Facilities :
I stay in hostel . Its a government hostel . Its near the college. Its completely free. The food is kinda okay but not so good. The infrastructure is so good and also we have napkin burner, RO water, Heater, separate cots and all. The registration to hostel is simple. The college provides that easily

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Not bad placement trainings and good faculty members to train for placements . Good companies with good packages come for placement drives who select the best of all and give placements for them. Good placements.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
