- Affordability, fees are very less in comparison to sel financed courses
- Library is very good, people can easily get books and among their subjects
- Campus is small but beautiful and greeen
- i liked the facility of elective courses which makes students independent to learn as per their choices.
Dislikes
- placements are very low, The industry is growing, they ned to improve placements and that could be done by updating the curriculum
- campus life was not so active at my time of study
- after getting placed in a core semicondutor company, i got to know that the curriculum is very outdated.
Remarks :
One of my main concern was affordability, i wanted to choose a course which is government aided. At BVM electronics is ver affordable in comparison to other tier2 colleges across Gujarat. Other than that BVM ranks under top5 in GTU. Admission process was under ACPC, which filters merit on the base of GUJCET and Board exams. There were no specific entrance exam or interview for BVM. As per my observation you shpould have around 80% in board and 70%ile in GUJCEt to get Electronics at BVM(can vary upto time). Other than college, i chose Electronics as my soecialisation because it can give you opportunity in software and hardware both the fields, which will never make you live unemplyed. People can get IT or nonIT both jobs with Electronics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As per my opninion course curriculum was a bit outdated, they should include some industry specific subjects like verilog, SV,UVM etc. For programming we had Python, C++, assembly language ATMEGA32. they had a very good facility to choose elective courses. Students had diverse options to choose if they want to study off the course, they can choose courses from different brances or from NPTEL as well. Talking about teachers, they were upto satisfaction and well qualified. But teaching method had nothing sepecial, studdent have to self study the couse before exams. they had two mid sem and one end examination throughout a semester. which was in easy to moderate level, could be cleared easily by selfstudying. You can also issue books from the college library, they had almost all the reknowned testbooks for all subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
In 8th semester students can opt for industry project. I chose IDP and got trained in the company whre i got placed. The college doesnthave such drives for internships. Students either get internships at their recruiter or they need to find something offcampus.
Placement Experience :
They had "ok-ok" placement cell. most of the students get placed with 4LPA, which is quite low in market standards. in our batch around 40 students get placed, other oprted for either highrer studies or off campus placements. Some of the companies are eInfochips, TCS, L&T, Infocusp, Motadata, Matrix Comsec etc. Highest placement offered to one student was around 8LPA, rest got placed nearer to 4 LPA. I got placemnet into one of the company through campus placement only.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Electronics Engineering at BVM was under grant in aid program. We paid around 3000 for tuition fees through out an year. But not all the courses have this much less fees. For self financed courses it was 70k for a semester. other than tution fees, we were paying around 1000 for misceleneous purposes. You can avail MYSY scholarship which covers 50% of your tution fees(for selfinanced students). There is also TFW scheme for meritorious stdents in self financed courses, into which they have to pay no tution fees.
Campus Life :
College life was a bit boring, but good for studiuos and introver people! we had one techno cultural fest throughout a year, which was ok ok. If you want to study than college library have plenty number of books for all the subjects, also they have ebooks. I found the library very helpful for selfstudy. As i was not much interested in college life, didnt articipated in any fest. But they have NSS,NCC, IEEE, IE etc.
Hostel Facilities :
They had tied up with CVM hostel. Which costel around 50000 for a year. which was quite affordable in comparison to other private hostels and PGs. but insfrastructure, mess and hostel managemnet was not so good. Most of the girls from our batch took admssion into private hostels sice 2nd year. The city have very options with hostels and PGs with much ranges of fees.

The placements for M. Pharmacy is 90% lj ip is the best college in the Ahmedabad for pharmacy, commerce, class room etc the placements is too good in lok jagruti institute of pharmacy the placements for commerce is also good

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
