Remarks :
Admission to this college is based on Jee main examination. This year cut-off of information technology branch is 78k for obc students. This college has better placement opportunity than other colleges in Aktu. Our college has many clubs like literary council, PFAC (photography and fine arts club), Sports councils for volleyball, basketball, football , Tabel Tanis , cricket , badminton, chess , kabaddi, an it organize frequent events. It involve the participation from 1st year students as well. Our college has also a innovation incubation and startup foundation ,internet of things Lab.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because of the interest with computers ,and to align myself with upcoming generation of hitech industry. Our faculty is MTECH and PHD qualified ,they teach very well , here math faculty is very good . There is 2 class tests in one semester and it is happens like exam .In one year there is 2 semesters exam ,1st semester exam held in December and 2nd semester in April.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee yearly for general and obc category students is 88850(caution fee 5000 included ,and it will be returned at the time of leaving the college ) and registration fee is 2000.The seat acceptance fee is 20000(at the time of admission you have to only 68850 subtracting the registration fee). There is no extra fee you have to pay for development, lab, or identity card or others things it is already included in your tuition fee . The fee for SC/ST students is free of cost. And they have to pay only 12k for the acceptance of seat at college The scholarship for OBC/GENERAL students is 55k-60k from the UP government and for SC/SC students it is around whose parents /guardian income from all source is less than or equal to 2 lacs. If there parents income is high than prescribed then a merit scholarship of Rs 3000.00 is awarded to 10 percent of the total number of students of each branch. Some financial aid is given to economically weaker students from Student Aid Fund.
Campus Life :
Spardha is the event of sports council ,it is event in which students of sports council of knit Sultanpur goes to IIT BHU for competition. In the hostel newspapers is provided daily, we have 2 libraries one is for all the students and the other is for electrical branch students. PFAC is a club which is run by students of knit Sultanpur. We have a Programming and TechSkills Club which is run by students of knit Sultanpur. in which all the platforms and guidance is provided by the club.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is good and here we have a healthy breakfast . At the time of physical reporting we got a form to fill for hostel allotment . There is 2 hostels for 1st year students i.e; vikramsarabhai and bhabha hostel.Bhabha hhostel is 3 seater and vikramsarabhai is 2 seater hostel.

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
